I love how congresswomen/men care about the children safety while let guns/drugs lose for full access by children of America. Nice job done.
They care about being able to defend themselves even though they never use their guns. It's that they are in danger when dealing with massively armed countries like Russia and China.
One of the most nonsensical statements in a long time. Drugs are illegal. Handgun purchases must be 21 years old. Shotguns and rifles can only be sold to those 18 and older.

It should not probe your list of wifi name and password. or if the phone connected to your wifi network. TT should not be probing other devices on the network.

FB on they other hand wouldn't go out of there way to do something as large as what they are saying TikTok as the potential to do because they wouldn't profit in the long term from it at all. after all FB is an american company and America has a capitalist system that companies follow in order to gain wealth, FB wouldn't go out of there way to hand over user data to foreign countries like china or russia who are enemies of us simply because that would lower there stock value and people would stop using it because of fear that FB user data would be used against the Us in a malicious way. I'm Chinese, and I know what I'm about to say is ironic, but I really like TikTok/Douyin. It's not because it's a Chinese app, but because it provides a platform where everyone can share their opinions, not just famous celebrities, influencers, and politicians. A few months ago, China had the most restricted COVID policies ever. People started to walk on the streets to protest and even ask President Xi to resign. All Chinese people shared this information on the Chinese version of TikTok (Douyin), and the government or even ByteDance couldn't control or delete all of it. I know how frustrating it is to lose freedom of speech as a Chinese citizen, but I believe that even in the US, many social media platforms are controlled by certain groups of people and politicians. If TikTok were to be banned, you guys lose a good way to share your opinions.

I don’t feel bad for the influencers. Just get on another platform. That app literally makes people Zombies. I’m not even a old person saying this 💀 I’m 16 and I see that my classmates and friends spend HOURS stuck on that app. Their grades drop, their social skills are deteriorating, and their attention span is that of a fly. I was the same until I deleted the app bc it was causing me procrastination and ever since, I’m happier, extroverted,and in tune with the present moment. I hope that app gets deleted, it sucks.

I know people twice your age who are addicted to tiktok and it's the exact same story. They have zero attention span, zero ambition, zero social skills, and they will spend hours on the app. I can't even imagine what it must be like to spend all day watching random 15 second videos. I’m all for the banning of TikTok. The only thing that scares me about banning it is that I don’t want it to set a precedent for more US government control in the future. I’d hope that this is a one off situation.
