I'm done with my cast!!

I got my cast off a week early and I'm into an air cast. I still have to be really careful over the next week and wear the cast except to ice and have a bath!
I am allowed to start some light weight bearing with the goal being to ditch the crutches in a week!

I prefer you with pink cast but this is better too with crutches :)

Hi thank you for your video. Since your foot was in a cast for 6 weeks at a plantar flexion position. Did you have issues with dorsiflexion? What did your foot feel like during that stage? What exercises did your doctor have you perform and what week did you start PT?

Are you sure you can soak the incision vs just having a shower? Another orthopedic surgeon directs specifically “ no soaking”!

I didn’t soak it until the incision was totally closed over. It’s a very good point. You don’t want to risk infection before it’s healed over.
