Intending to go EK ignite and was looking for a temporary starter. Found this and thought perfect. Then hearing you’re intention to swap later sealed it. Thanks!

Wave of conviction is generally what people league start with when they want to play an ignite build that has a skill that requires a bit of investment before taking off. Ethereal Knives is a great example. I'm using it to farm up a bit of currency before swapping to ignite vortex when I get like 20 to 50 divines

Sure you can, but Arc ignite is nowadays weak numeric-wise in comparison. Wave of Conviction lvl 20 base dmg - 1476 to 2214 (330% added dmg scaling). Level 30 base dmg - 4869 to 7304. Arc lvl 20 base dmg - 198 to 1122 (120% added dmg scaling). Level 30 base dmg - 537 to 3044. Yes Arc deals extra dmg on single target and has a better feel to it, but with the loss of +1 chain mastery and the fact that you don't utilize 25% more dmg from shaper of flames, I can only see it being used if you're way overgeared and overleveled for the content you're doing (e.g. low tier map legions farming).
If you get stuck at level 80 it's your fault. Many people have taken WoC Elementalist to level 100 this league and in leagues before. Naturally you'll need to keep upgrading your character beyond the starter day-1 PoB which has 5c items in every slot.
C @AsmodeusClips Dude, big fan, but there's literally 6 ppl that made to 100 with WOC, and most likely they use 5-Way. Only way out of this build is to convert to Detonate Dead. It was fun while lasted though. Are you one of the six ppl that made to lvl 100?
I am thinking to go on 18th to the league, since I just stepped out from diablo iv, a question is: How can a noob play a build like this without suffer so much? I mean, can't go so hard on leveling since I don't know the map and can't struggle without know how to get some items.
Take it one step at a time. You can follow the PoB as closely as you can and try to understand the choices. It's a complicated game, so just take your time and enjoy the learning process :)

After so many good PoE build recommendations, it's not bad to flop just for once: This build is the slowest clearer I've ever played. As for boss fights, it takes ages. OK guys, try something else from Asmo, NOT this one. PS and yes I followed the guide exactly with the very best gear I could find from my standard inventory (quite big after 5 years of laegue-playing). After lvl 73 I abandoned it...
Small tip that Mr. Beast mentioned in one of his videos: with the Thumbnail you set expectations, if you dont match those people quit fast after watching the Video, so do I. Thumbnail was exploding stuff and I wanted to see gameplay (even if its not the future patch) and if I like what I see, I would have been interested in PoB Stuff.

I'm not league starting this but let me just say your guides especially on heist back in the day, absolutely god tier.
Nice thing about this build is that you can swap to death wish ignite for bossing or EK for clearing.

I'm most likely going to transition into EK ignite after getting HH and some extra currency and I'll post updates whenever I do that

I would kill them, unless you want some extra resists and mana regen with Alira.

Ek is way better for clear. But it requiers a few specific items to work well
Will you also update the Toxic Rain Raider build? I think it is one of the best League Starters :D Also, great content as ever.

Could be really good, I decided to not include any untested tech in the starter version, but it's worth looking into.

You can, but you will lose a blessing unless you solve the mana somehow.
