Bode’s betrayal caught me so off guard when I first played this.
I expected betrayal. Even before the game dropped I always thought from the trailers that he was just a lil bit off. What I did not expect was that Force push. Now, that there's a good twist
I've been experiencing the game through Kyle's play through and I was totally shocked he betrayed them. AND has force powers. Wtf!?
I definitely saw it coming. When he did betray them I was just like “😐 I fcking KNEW IT”
Funny, I was expecting it. As soon as he mentioned he had a daughter he wanted to protect, I was like 'aha'. I even made a list of predictions. And that was definitely on my list.

This story is so well paced. Because they really do set you on edge by having it feeeel like it concludes with Dagan... but you know that cant quite be it, so you feel sufficiently suspicious to set you up for what follows (which then becomes my favourite parts of the story by far)
This Just goes to show how powerful of a Jedi Cere was. May the force be with her.

Well you weren't wrong. Bode was willing to do anything for his daughter.
I always thought Bode would betray us, but I was lulled into a false sense of security that I was still surprised when he did betray us. Him being a jedi really did catch me off guard though.
"Jetpack, I'm gonna fuck you up". My thoughts exactly when this happened lol. Then, it someone got even better once Vader showed up.
Man the vader fight is a lot less impactful on the difficulty he is playing on, it's much more intense when you actually feel like you are in danger of dieing and doing very little damage to Vader

I was unfortunately spoiled for Bode's betrayal, but it's been entertaining listening to you talk about him before finding out. Especially when you talked last episode about dealing with Dagan as a Force user and what it must have been like for Bode...

Yeah, I've been cringing all through this everytime Kyle says how great Bode is! Which is the same for every playthrough I've watched, it caught a lot of people by surprise.
I wasn't spoiled on this like I was spoiled on gow Ragnarok but I really felt like something was up with bode
Me too, I was watching someones play through , and I was hoping it was the beginnings of the game, turns out they uploaded the last vid, didn't mark it with any spoiler warning. In the first 2 minutes, they spoiled Bodes character.
Knew this would be a hellish battle since he had just took an L from Kenobi.
This whole sequence was emotionally draining. 😢 Seing Greez cry hit the hardest.

I wasn't expecting Bode to be a Jedi when I first played the game. When he force pushed Cal and pulled out his lightsaber, I flipped my shit.
Yeah this hurt so much bro. Bode is gonna get what’s coming to him. He made the wrong choice.
Cere went out like a true Jedi master. If any of the ranks in the Jedi order should be giving Vader trouble, it would be the masters.
Kyle, hope you do at least the bounty-hunting missions cause there is a really awesome surprise at the end of it.
I’ve been waiting for you to get to the “Betrayal” I reacted the same way when Bode murdered Cordova. Then revealed he’s a Jedi. Also reacted the same when Vader showed! Cere’s death was very powerful and emotional.
I feel like the devs wanted us to suspect he would betray us in the story at some point, then completely shock-twist us with that force push.

I know Kyle's playing this on story mode, but I think they might have made the balance a little too easy in the boss fights. Kyle beat Vader without having to even use a health (in fact, he didn't use Cere's health powerup the entire time he was playing as her).
Anyway, great reaction as always, which is the main reason we watch!
Its a difficulty for players that have zero timing and no time to build skill.
@@brucechmiel7964 and I think they've gone slightly too easy with it is all. A boss should require at least one heal if say.
@@GedUK Story mode is cake. You cannot lose even to the Rancor. I was in a hurry to get the platinum so I did that for three Force tears.
That was such a good betrayal. They invested so much into making us love Bode and just ripped our heart out. And Cere's whole fight was so freaking awesome! I played it on knight difficulty and it took me a good couple of tries. Vader got scarier, more aggressive, and overwhelming as his fight went on. I could barely make a dent in his block meter. This is one fight I'd actually recommend everyone play on a higher difficulty. He's the most fair boss when it comes to just using saber attacks, blocks, and dodges. It truly feels like an old school lightsaber duel between Cere and Vader. Amazing.

I saw the betrayal coming idk why but I did, but it still cut deep. I did not expect the saber tho and his Jedi past, that surprised me. Make sure when you’re done with the story, do all the bounty hunting missions for a nice surprise 😌
i thought this was such a nice way for the player to say goodbye to cere. that just this once we got to not only experience one of cal's echos but be fully immersed in it.
i was spoiled for bode betraying us but i didn't know the when, how or why. i was still taken aback.
This was the most thrilling part of the game but it was incredibly painful tbh. I totally cried 😅 the last time I felt this emotional about a death in Star Wars was when Kanan died in Rebels.

I like to think that I can see a heel turn (betrayal) coming a mile away in a story, but this is one I did NOT see coming. And pissed me off a bit too since I actually liked the Bode character cause I thought he was decent ally for your squad.

Since Rdr2 I'm always so afraid that the main protagonist dies, so when cal passed out in the desert, I was losing my shit! Especially when cere saw him WITH trilla when she died. Thought he is a force ghost

I still feel Vader should have faired better against Cere.
He did. Outside of gameplay he dominated the fight. She lands no actual hits that weren’t the environment.
Vader wins any clashes and blade locks they get in and drives Cere back all the time, she held but struggled and Vader was dicking around until she dropped debris on him. Hell it probably wasn’t even him that was damaged but his legs, those cybernetics are very delicate and need care to keep his weight.
Idk why your character looks so different from the others I've seen on this game..
