For a man whose self taught, he's also got a great sense of fashion! Seems like one gnarly dude to hang out with!
I appreciate how fair, friendly, and professional the judges are on this show. There are plenty of reality tv-shows out there where judges act hostile and high-and-mighty and even get biased in their decision-making.
As someone researching indeginous swords this program and the judges input is a lifeline ..Mr David Baker my deep respect and thanks for sharing your experience and expertise! Hoping that History Channel will keep producing many more seasons of Forged in fire
Dave looks like a cool science teacher
Make an episode where the judges are the ones competing
That would be awesome!
THAT WOULD BE THE BEST SHOW!!!!
That is a great idea. I know that Doug marcaida doesn't usually Forge and neither does the host wil Willis
The Lizard King greatest idea
only two of the judge are the real smiths
The best thing about this show is, every challenge they throw at the contestants the judges make it themselves first to see if its possible and safe or not. So these guys are legit. they are not fake one created just for the show.
*He looks like he about to invent kentucky fried chicken*
🥱
He’s always so well dressed. Cutie pie
I sure love these little Snippets of background information on the hosts. It was very interesting to learn about Dave and his background. It gives me a new appreciation for his knowledge. I know that I started bladesmithing because of the show at the age of 59. It is a new passion where I don't believe I had a passion in life before. I play guitar and drums scuba dive downhill ski but nothing like knife building gives me passion! Forged in fire is my favorite show by far.
MANLIEST mustache in smithing
My favourite David Baker
The show inspired me! I’ve been full blown blacksmithing for 6 months not including training time. Thanks forged in fire I love what I do again!
@David Baker- Forged in Fire is one of my 10 year old's favorite shows. She says that she wants to learn how to make knives because of what she's seen on your show!
I'm a retired Diesel Mechanic & Machinist and in my retirement I've had much more time to fire up my Blacksmith shop and my two grand kids(girl, age 8 & boy, age 9) just love to watch me work. I'm more amazed by how much information they absorb watching me work than they are amazed at watching me work. Whether I'm working on an old truck, repairing my tractors, doing carpentry, wiring a workshop, blacksmithing or knife making, those two little boogers are right there watching me and helping in any way they can. Whenever I'm watching TV and Forged In Fire comes on, those little beauties just come running to snuggle up with me and watch their favorite show. They like to pick their favorite smith at the beginning and root for him to win. They also like to watch Wil Willis' old show called, "Special Ops Mission." I'm glad my grand kids are not like the majority of kids their age.
My mother and I watch FiF on TV and I've developed a big of a crush on David and his body shape makes him look like a big teddy bear that I just want to wrap my arms around and hug so much.😍♥🧸👍
Fun fact dave makes most if not ALL of the examples of the things the contestants have to make usually on as much if not more of a time crunch than the contestants
Man does anyone Else love to hug David Baker?? Or is it just me??
I miss David Baker, he reminds me of my Dad.
This show inspired me to make my own forge and start making knives and such
Has anyone noticed that Dave Baker is sometimes wearing Vikings Sacred Arm Rings, including Ivar the Boneless', just like we see in that great Vikings series ???? That is soooo cool ! And of course, I'm a huge fan of Forged in Fire (but I prefered Wil Willis...) Anyway, it's the only show that can give me my smile back when I'm depressed.
From what ive heard, big chunk of his money came from selling his originl recipe.
Recipe on what? Steel? Please I want to learn
Greek Veteran fried chicken
David, pleeeeeeeeeeease, create your own youtube channel, man! I'd love to watch you forging.
David Baker, "I'm going to take your weapon and beat it against these iron bars and try to break it."
It would have been really cool if Dave had been one of the weapons experts for some legendary warrior on Deadliest Warrior.
Love to hang out with these guys
I love Forged in Fire!!!!
you inspired me alright, iv been forging like crazy, im all cut and burned but happy as never before, thanks guys
Thanks for your compassion
Nice video Dave! I recognize your picture from your acting days. I love this show, glad you are on it.
These guys are badasses
David Baker is A true Judge on Forged In Fire he if your blade breaks he actually show's you why it broke
FOR INSTANCE:
You see that black spot that's A crack or desalination so with all of that hitting on that piece of (particular object) opened it right up.
Most of all since Collin went against David Baker I would also like to like to have A try to see how I do
Teacher - David Baker (professional) VS
student - me, Justin (Amateur).
I really like this show and all the information that I've learned from David Baker I just would like to put it to the test and if I can meet David Baker then I would have A new mentor
Lol, I remember the 80's stuff. Nice to know that some of us survived
He's always so well dressed too
Somebody needs to make a compilation of Dave Baker hitting his head on the desk when a contestant messes something up.
Dave it is very good to watch your video I thank you very much for sharing with us
Me encanta el programa y el sr David Baker tan guapo me encanta verlo
Who else was introduced to David Baker thanks to the show Deadliest Warrior?
Dave is my favorite judge. Yep, I said it, not Mr. Keel
0:19
Woow! Just look at him!!!
" if I could wear a sword every day I would wear a sword every day"
I think he speaks for all of us
he is the best :)
Great stuff!
he is Harland David Sanders
amazing
yup. I got the bug. want to make some cool stuff.
I'm watching the show as I'm writing this ,just watched baker do the apple slice test on 3 of the tests he slices thru the apples and curves the slice so not all apples are being cut the tells the contestants that the apples aren't being cut, they are being broken , all you have to do is cut straight ! He's curving the cut ! Get a machine and make it fair , I think it's being rigged !
Hi I just started making knives any advice
the only reasons why i watch this show are:
1) dave bakers moustache
2) smithing
I think that Dave is amazing, but I'm not sure which I find to be more impressive, his skill or his mustache and attire?
Guapoooooo!
Force in fire inspired me also too go forcing
Force?
That's me
my daughter called me last week and asked if I could get a forge at my body shop! she wants to learn to be a smith!
Well David just went from being my #2 to my #1 silver fox. (Rips up picture of Eric Dane)
everytime i see someone using a anglegrinder without the safetyshroud or how its called in english i feel sick in my stomach. dangerous stuff
Just got my hands whiped today by wires spined up by an anglegrinder……no stiches, no crashed bones, no sheared tendons, I'm lucky.
lets see some Mongol empire sword!!
uhm nice video about David Baker but the Title is wrong
marius schoenmaker why?
Why? Did they fix it?
What is the name of that weapon at 02:11
Now everytime he says something onn the show. The host should say. "Well...that is the actor's opinion, but let's hear what the rest have to say!"
Gues he won't tell us about the 7 herbs and spices
On season 2,ep.55, David Baker wore a very unusual bracelet on his right arm. Can you elaborate where it can be found and how much?
Thanks. David
wrong title
This is Pam's husband Steven I have a sword and can't find anyone to tell me about it can you help.
1:37 isn't the third guy in line one of the judges now?
yes. ben, winner of season 2
Colonel Sanders doesn't work with KFC no more
You gave 3 minutes to a man with facial hair and forearms like that? FOR SHAME
Hey, it's the KFC man
They need to make an episode of up n coming blacksmiths to try make a blade and they try not to say anything negative or cringe hahah
I wpuld not want to be on his bad side.
Кто русский?
My boyfriend 😍😍
.
.
David was black!!??
Remember you from Deadliest Warrior.
FiF did a great job selecting the judges. They're all extremely cool separately but together, they're a masterpiece. Watching them scoff and comment on what's going on is the best part of the show!
wrong title
The judge with the best fashion sense
David Baker was in a seen on lock'n load with R Lee Ermey. It was the blade episode with the bronze hallstatt, the iron sword, and the roman gladius
where does he get his TIES??? i love them everytime its an awesome design
This show i will say inspired me and my husband to start. Its amazing art and you can take some anger out while making beautiful pieces
How about a video with advice from all the judges on how to start a forge of your own? This show has inspired me as well!
