Really lookin hard at the gen 1 RDX. This is interesting stuff... your car sounds rad dude. Soon as I saw you on the the vid I had a feeling you were going to say the things I was needing to hear about the boost, tune, etc. I have had a lot of cars and most reviewers hobbyist/pro just dont "get" it, especially talking about boosted cars. The look on your face says it all, almost like WTF?! Anyway.. it's stuff like this that solidifies my almost always good sense on cars. I have a '13 TL sh-awd and I really like it, but I think adding an RDX would be perfect.
Definitely love it. It's not fast, it is quick. It's made to handle. I'm on BC Coilovers, with a Progress 22mm adjustable rear sway bar, 20mm front spacers and 25mm rear spacers. 18x8.5 +35mm wheels. My Flashpro says Im at 259whp 280wtq. Have to take it to a Dyno soon to really see.
@@jmizzle24 it definitely looked quick on the vid.. i had an evo 9 for about 3 years so i know about them lil 4 cyl turbos. The technical way you talk about everything is what im after. I dont know a lot of the lingo/mechanical but im smart enough to pick up what i need to get where im trying to go.. thats why i liked your vid.. You have the tech in your head spaced out so it makes sense when you talk about it and thats hard to find in reviews from almost any channel. I am still trying to spec one.. im prob 2 mo's from any real moves. They look VERY affordable for what they are, and Acura makes funky stuff so I have a really good feeling about the RDX. I looked at everything and this is what I came down to. $/Performance/reliability/operation cost.. its pretty much unbeatable for what it is. Im sure all of us here would love to hear more when you get a chance to put out more info. I was looking at Ktuner(?) and Hondata last night. As usual a lot of BS in the marketing space for 1st gen RDX(any car) performance. So, ANY updates and guiding you provide is AWESOME and highly appreciated. You just happen to be pretty good at presenting this stuff too, so you have that going for you! :)

If u want an etune i used steve at etunez, did dataloging and multiple revisions as i added boltons…
I just recently bought a 2008 Acura RDX and purchased a hondata race, just need to know which tune you use with your mod. There are not a lot of choices available pre tune for this car using Hondata. Currently using CARB TUNE.

Check the turbo manifold for coolant leaks, check for oil leaks, check for the P2263 code, which is common on these cars
i have a 1st gen rdx too im bout to do some stuff too it if know anything or have suggestion let me know
what's up man. I'd say start with an Intake. You can get a K&N, a Fletcher Built intake(but he is deployed right now) or an eBay intake. I have a custom intake made from an eBay intake and an spectre piping. Join the Facebook forum page "Acura RDX Owners(Stock or with Mods)" very informative group.

It really is! I love this revision! It pulls very well and the A/F readings are spot on!
How much money would you say you put into the car?
Roughly about 4k.
Are you making a vid about the new tune? Do pov pulls?
How fast 0-60? Mine without tune makes 7 seconds
My Fastest 0-60 is 6 seconds
What's the mileage on your rdx? Mine has about 200k miles on it and I was thinking about flashing it
