Scammers have unhealthy minds. When they're comfortable doing "minor" crimes, they then move to doing worse things. Please don't idolize people, especially their bad behaviors. It's what led to trumplestilskin - people overlooking his "minor" crimes. The most dangerous are ones who appear nice, charming, innocent -- but they've fooled you (maybe they're not).

I wish I could buy her audiobook but rather than her reading from it (which would be awesome on its own) just have her tell the stories of her life the way she does in this clip, which is every interview she does! I remember buying the “SNL Best of Molly Shannon” DVD and there were extra features including a few appearances on Conan and that’s when I realized one of my favourite SNL cast members was even more hilarious off the show. Seriously, watch every interview she’s done, they’re the best. If I could have anyone at my dinner table, it’s Molly!

I work on Broadway shows. There are dozens of variations of this scam -- most offices check every "referral" nowadays so it doesn't work anymore. Recently, a guy claimed to have major studio backing and wanted a meeting about a huge project. When we called the studio, it was a direct-to-video Christian-themed one-woman operation in Georgia that didn't have a thousand in the bank let alone $150-million. The scammer said we must have called the wrong studio and gave us a phone number... to the same studio. We report them all to local & state police.
This is a very believable story. I noticed that when I mentioned that my professor referred me to a business, (a truth) I was always granted an interview. The pattern showed that they were clearly doing the nicety to him insodoing rather than me.
What a ball of energy! She has the ability to take you on such a roller coaster ride when you watch her. She’s fantastic. And the book was great. She was amazing on SNL. One of my favorite actresses love her
I can’t say I was ever a huge fan of Molly, but I always thought she was funny in SNL. But I never saw her just have a conversation with someone and Omgosh, she is so adorable! I love her personality. She seems like someone I’d be friends with if I knew her growing up. So sad to find out about the loss of her family, I didn’t know that. Hopefully her book comes out on auditable. Love to hear her narrate it herself.
