I know this was months ago but i just wanna say some things to possibly clear up any confusion. Vincent did love Rody (Vincent is canonically gay while Rody is bi but also biphobic since it's the 60's) and his original plan wasn't actually to kill Rody. I guess we could say that Vincent is a Yandere but the most dangerous for their own crush type. Vincent killed Manon cause Rody loved her and well.. he wanted to prepare something for him but he took cooking with love a bit too literally and he prepared something (someone) he actually loved. The idea of killing Rody popped up later in his head cause you know how he can't taste anything? Well people always told him that he doesn't cook with love so he thought that if he eats Rody (someone he loves) he might taste again. However he didn't know that it doesn't work like that since he was never in love. Fun fact: Vincent slapped Rody when the bag ripped cause there was a murder weapon there (also the reason why the bag ripped) and he just panicked so he slapped him to get his attention so he doesn't look at it. Fun fact 2: when we go to Vincent's apartment and go to the kitchen we see the knife stabbed in the cutting board right? But after Vincent catches us in the bedroom and we go back we can see that it's not there anymore and Vincent's hand is behind his back, not on his hip like usual which means he was alresdy planning to kill Rody there but eventually let him go. I'm not sure why.. maybe cause he wasn't mentally ready to kill him but when he realizes we stole the key he pretty much has no choice. Fun fact 3: Vincent is in his late 20's while Rody is also in his late 20's or he's 30. We don't know their exact ages but we know that Rody is older. Fun fact 4: Rody is canonically stronger so that's why he could push Vincent away with ease. Fun fact 5: Vincent is favorising Rody and we can clearly see that cause he was already late on day 2 but Vincent wasn't mad after he saw Rody's state and even dried him off (such a straight thing to do in the 60's), Rody sneaked in Vincent's office AND bedroom but all Vincent did is told Rody to stay out while the cook made one mistake and Vincent almost burned their fucking face off for that lmao. (So pretty much Vincent was crushing on Rody since day 1) Fun fact 6: in the ending where Vincent butchers Rody, he specificaly prepares his heart for now obvious reason. If you're confused with anything regarding dead plate then let me know and i'll try to explain if i know!
I would definitely give you a raise SuperCosmonut! I really enjoyed this video! Keep them coming!
