Hey everyone, seriously, these HD58x headphones are awesome. Every individual instrument and frequency sounds so coherent, that it's really been making my editing/arranging and playback experience much more effective. In the past I've had issues with bassier tones throwing off my pitch, with the HD58x, no frequency really overpowers the other, so tracking vocals have also been much more efficient. If youre only gonna allow metal bands you might as well not do it. The reason grunge killed hair metal so easily was because it was a stagnating genre. A lot of metal bands sound the same.
Wierdly enough, while I loves me some Beatles, that (and the John Denver) were the two I found least memorable. (And I own at least 2 John Denver albums - best of and the Muppets Christmas album. Which rocks.) I think the speed and chord-heavy nature of the song didn't lend itself to either of those styles, personally. (Just an amateur guess, though.) To me, they ended up sounding kind of "generic mid 70's". I did like the Doors version, though.
