4 SVS subs in I'm glad I live on the ground floor and my delivery guy is a power lifter. Also mine never come on a pallet. SVS double boxes them and packs them so well I've never had an issue. First thing I do on all my subs is attach furniture sliders! Been pleased with the new PC2000 though - it's so light.
I’ll take the pallet. I’m making a stereo rack out of pallet wood. 5 down.....15 more to go. It’s gonna be BADASS!

Put the box back together and slide it over the subwoofer when you're not using it to keep the cat from using the cloth covering as a scratching post.

i know it's usually the opposite , but i watched a video with elac adante and made me think about it
if so , you might use them at night ( not loud ) and your neighbours might not call the cops ( or even hear )

You could use the plastic bag to cover it when you're not playing it and so she can't scratch it.

I would say that you really should get a better apt, but then you are in NY so im sure your apt cost more than my mortgage.

Ahh, the world's largest lint roller :p I Upgraded from Dual PC12+'s to Dual PB16's......and you know what? As far as moving them around my house once already inside, I thought the (boxed) PB16's were actually EASIER to move around because of the built-in grab handles. The (boxed) PC subs, while lighter, were more awkward to move around by hand. Can't attest to moving them after unboxing, as I thought ahead and had furniture sliders already on-hand for the PB16's. Without sliders? Yeah, the PB16's would royally suck LOL!
If you ever lay the PC subs down, vacuum your carpet IMMEDIATELY before, IMO. Laying mine on the side for 4 minutes to install the isolation feet got them dirty as hell :/ If I'd thought ahead, I would have done that with that cardboard wrap still on.
In fact, why don't you put the cardboard wrap *back* on to protect the sub from Chewbacca? Cut a hole for the front display, and leave the amp area open for airflow. Just take the cardboard off for the fancy-schmantzy real review. As long as the top and bottom are exposed, they'll function as intended.
