What sucks is trying to sell Throw Away cards base cards from 80s-2010s be lucky to get 10¢ for each card if you're lucky to find someone who even wants them
Man times change...cards from mid 1970’s or older especially graded cards have went up big time! I noticed cards 10 or 11 years ago I could buy for $100-$200 range are now upwards of $500 or more! You would think with unemployment rising and shaky economy that it would be the opposite.
Very informative, I’m just curious, I’m getting back into the hobby after 20 yr absence, I’m viewing this video in 2018, how’s the market looking. Thank you for the video
I have here a lot of cards, I just learned I could earn much from these. I had been collecting Jordan (25 cards here), Iverson (11 cards here) Bryant (14 cards here) among others... any advice??? This is from PHILIPPINES.
those are certainly good names, however, I deal in mostly the older cards so I am not familiar with which cards of those guy are the most valuable. I always believe the the older cards and the major stars hold their value the best or have the best chance of appreciating
Dave I bought a 1992 book called hall of fame baseball cards it has 92 cards. authentically. reproduced in full color it perforated for easy detaching by Bert Randolph Sugar it was published in 1978 ,is it worth anything I paid ten dollars for it ,its in near mint condition ,thanks
its a nice book to be able to see cards that you might not be able to buy. I would say thats the value in it, not a resale value type of collectors item
Hi sir, i just came across your channel, i sell stuff on ebay, and i grabbed 15, 000 baseball and basketball cards, i heard they could be worth some money. i paid 36 dollars, and i have no idea about them. Im just hoping i get some cash back from this little experiment im doing.
Totally agree! I wouldn't recommend that anyone get in to sports cards collecting with the hopes of a big future payday--won't happen. Do it purely as a hobby just because you love baseball, nothing more.
I disagree, I bought a couple of Aaron Rodgers card per week when I got paid, range from $5 to $50. I turned around and got those cards graded, I now have over 150 Gem Mint 10 Aaron Rodger cards Some 1 0f 1 worth well over$10,000. Now I am on to Tom Brady. I am in it for the investment and doing quite well thank you!!
you prolly dont give a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my gf for the last few weeks xD
Went to a baseball card convention showed a 1962 don drysdale Sandy Koufax great condition guys like no not mint don’t want them went to about 7 dealers there all scammers the guy said he give me 75 dollars for 12 classics cards yeah ok jertks
Mints and Tiffany is rare,he is correct. Tiffany=Centered photo,no blamishes, card color is correct, back of the card words are centered. No scratches(because you need to look at the glare on the surface. I checked al my cards(16,000+),and I have a few thousand( maybe 1,000)that can be 8-10 on the grading scale. My trophy cards..*.ROOKIES,*FIRST YEARS, *PROSPECTS,*H.O.F.ers,*DECEASED,*MISPRINTS. Just sayin
Hey everyone im a new baseball card collector.I paid around $200 bucks for all the cards and have no clue what i have. Any help pointing out the good cards would be awesome.
@@worldtraveler8676 Beckett is a joke anymore, you pay an arm and a leg for it and half the cards you want to look up aren't even listed. I bought one back in June to look up some 60's cards (baseball) that I have and it didn't list anything past 1980. The football Beckett had all the years in it but it didn't have a bunch of the stuff that I collected in 2001 like Donruss Classics ETC.
@@mryan9675 Sadly I am not surprised. I used to buy Beckett Monthly's in the 90's. Stopped in the mid 90's when prices started to increase. $20 now and not having a complete list is insane to say the least but like I said before I am not surprised. The ads are how they make money. The more ads they have in the guide the more they make. They don't make money from content. Nonsensical I know. To help solve your situation I can suggest what I did. I went to Beckett's website and found what I needed. My suggestion is for you to do that. It was free when I used it. I don't know if it still is. Hope that helps.
@@worldtraveler8676 Let me correct myself the Beckett Baseball guide didn't list anything before 1980. The price guide isn't $20.00 YET I think I paid 12.99 for the one I bought back in June. I did the same thing I went to the website and started using the online price guide. It cost me $10.00 a month for access to the vintage price guide or I can pay 50 cent per card.

It's a hobby. You do it because it interests you. If you do it for investment you're in it for the wrong reason.
Amen!

You have comics? Do you buy/trade?
$20 for a Beckett.
Look at all the Beckett's from the past.
None are worth anything.

I have about 20,000 cards from 67 through 78. Any interest ?
Hi Dan
you can call me at 30 471 1959 with more details on the collection
Thanks
Dave
Got any Cubs players? Lemme know.
jmaal2345 , plenty of every team
I also have a Paul molitor 1/1 autograph
How much does it cost to send a card for grading?
Depends on the value of the card, but they start at about $20 and go up from there
+ shipping and handling
so if the card isn't worth more than $100 it ain't worth it
