really nice! This ducking unmask feature is silky perfection. And I will admit watching until the end the second time I'm impressed by the full mix spectrum not colliding with each other in creating that full space. Nice work Izotope (as always!)
Hi there. User's feedback is always crucial for us! Now with Cascadia is introduced an intelligent delay function aimed at solving masking issues common in delay effects. It uses AI to carve out space for the dry signal, ensuring clarity and preventing overlap with delayed elements. Is a step forward from the previous DDLY.
So a delay effect with frequency based ducking? Neat. But how long will your support this? Izotope has a habit of discontinuing reasonable support for products on a whim. NI is not much better. It makes me hesitant to buy and use this in my workflow. I need tools that will be supported and available for the long term.
@@Scorpiondaily No plugin is good to go, from the start, for the future. None. They all need on going support to accommodate different hardware and operating systems. Not to mention just routine bug fixing, since no code is bug-free.
Hi there! iZotope generally provides robust updates for its major products, especially those integrated into flagship or series bundles like Catalyst. However, exact durations or guarantees depend on different criteria, like company policies and market demand. We keep an eye on our users feedback to improve our products.
what if the neutron series can do like a multi frequency fleas of all the was of the plugins tonal balance and do like ai suggested sidechain routing so that it can unmask itself with the unmask module it tells you which channels to route by the interplugin communication so that it can use the routing to then unmask each channel by one another then it also suggest track grouping for sub mix busses this way it knows which groups of tracks are masked based on instrument classes and frequency class and panning then it unmask the instruments in the group from each other a certain way and by stereo field and it unmask it instrument in each group from the instruments in the other groups as well then it does the same process to unmask groups from each other when u put the plugin on on group buss, this way the maxes are unmasked well and with interplugin communication tonal balance control and all those things the mixes are superb
What's difference from NI Replika with its ducking function ? (I know it's not technically the same company but since they both merge, that plugin seems redundant)
Cascadia uses spectral ducking, meaning it only ducks select frequencies. It's also psychoacoustic, which means that it only ducks frequencies that your brain will perceive as masking the dry signal. We love Replika btw!
Hi! The key difference between the ducking functions in Native Instruments' Replika and iZotope's Cascadia lies in how they handle dynamic interaction between the delay and the main audio signal. Hi! For better audio quality and workflow place Soothe after corrective EQ but before compression in most cases. This allows it to address resonances without being influenced by compression artifacts.
It's all subjective, but yes. The vocal delay is too loud as well. I would have blended it in lower. I probably would have low passed the vocal delay track down to around 3k or so and automated the EQ so the 3k+ come back in on certain parts for impact. That's me though.
Aurora was a game changer on my last mix so this is a no brainer... can't wait for the whole pack

Thanks for watching - and listening!
Finally a delay plugin from iZotope with the unmask module from their other tools. I also love the reverse delay mode.
1000% getting this one
What does unmask actually do?

Love these new plugins
This might've been the most pleasant "Introducing…" video so far. I like that song, does anybody know what it is?

Nice job, everyone! Rachel, your voice sounds amazing, as always!
Amazing Plug in, very Clear Tutorial and I LOVE THE SONG.
Ahh, finally an intelligent delay. I was getting tired of my stupid one
😆
🤣
Great song!
I like the dry version of the vocal and guitar. But I like the reverse delay
My Favorit Company...Talent Izotope
I hate the fact that they’re producing these fantastic tools and dont include them in their subscription model. But I love the plugin - fantastic work
SOLD! Very persuasive vid, not least it's a great track to use for the demo.
Good plug-in, but that song is magic!
It really is! What's the name of it?

Interesting! I'll be checking this one and Aurora out soon. Already am using Plasma in mixes. 😀
The example song sounds very much like Zero 7, the delay sounds very good
VERY much like their earlier stuff for sure, their last album was pretty crap though.
@@groovedealerfeaturing-ashl6476 a disagree Zero 7 is amazing in my opinion
Damn that sounds LUSCIOUS AF!!
waiting for the iZotope DAW!
Yea, where just loading it takes 50% CPU lol
LMAO
amazing track!
Bro this crazy 💀🔥🔥
Gotta have it!!

Awesome 👏👏👏

Or put Soothe after any delay or reverb triggered by the vocal!
Soothe is an expensive, over rated CPU hog
Hi! For better audio quality and workflow place Soothe after corrective EQ but before compression in most cases. This allows it to address resonances without being influenced by compression artifacts.
@@iZotopeOfficialtrying this on a vocal today. I always put my dseq3 after compression which is probably bad
25$ for a crossgrade isn't too shabbt. I prefer the older delay plugin though. It was an eye sore gui, but could do some cool things.
This is maaaad
The plugins are good, I love them, the thing is the CPU 👎
Yes heavy CPU consumption 😢
These frequency spectators channel strips always drain cpu but this only being dedicated to delay makes that kinda bad.
Cascadia?
For newbies again?

Anyone think that bongo is waaaaay to loud. I can hardly hear the cowbell...and believe me, you're really gonna want that cowbell
