      @@CeRzI think they meant that the way she said "Level 1" was her using her voice to match a reference pitch from an instrument. What you're describing seems to be perfect pitch, which she may have and then she wouldn't need any external reference, but I'm under the impression she doesn't have perfect pitch because of how she introduced the first level

    • @ErimlRGG
      @ErimlRGG 4 місяці тому +10

      And I don't think you understood Carlo's comment. She obviously has a click on her ear and since she sang 'level 1' to tune herself, it's very likely she had a tone in her ear to tune herself too. You can also see her looking to the side to the person who is probably playing the click and probably a note so she can reference it. The precision is obviously impressive but it wasn't the first note she sang, it was the 'level 1' and she may be comparing it to a synth or whatever in her ear. She may even have a drone on her ear playing to make it even easier to be in tune @@CeRz

    As somebody who records vocal harmonies frequently, the hand movement she is doing helps sooo much. With normal vocals, it’s fine. I can pitch correct 1-3 layers, no problem. If I’m doing some 70 layer harmony stack, id rather eat the first thing I grab, while blindfolded, from the union station’s lost and found bin than correct every single track. So, the hand comes out. I’m not fully sure if the movements I do are actually accurate. I would only know if I got a theremin. However, I think that placing the idea of pitch into a physical movement helps me to actually pay attention to pitch. Especially with vocals that have a lot of quick, drastic and/ or unusual pitch changes.

    Awesome rework! I really appreciate the more telegraphed attacks compared to the sorta unpredictable probes and lasers of the original. Looks harder than vanilla Destroyer but in a more fair, learnable way

      Yes! The singer also commented on here and credited this riff to Sammy who originally created it.

      @@pineappleshavepeelings oh right, she made that TikTok challenge years back! I totally forgot about that! Hearing Elle’s soft ascending major 7th on “watch that scene” must have activated some deep Sammy Rae memory, because WHO ELSE DOES THAT?!

    I love this!❤ my dad was in a bluegrass band. And to be able to sing with the band, you had to be able to jump from one part to the other on command. My daughter’s violin teacher was amazed that I could do that without written music. If it comes down to nature or nurture, I’d say you have an advantage when you hear it all of your life, but the quality of your voice is wonderful! I really enjoyed listening to this -that is a God-given talent-
    best wishes

    So many people commenting on her body hair and it disgusts me how people say that kind of stuff! It’s her body, she can choose how she wants her body hair to look. People on the internet should not be policing how much/where ladies or anyone shave. There’s no rules about what she should shave and i think she looks beautiful and has a great voice and musical skill.

      My only that but everybody is hating on her rendition of dancing queen. Like why? It’s not supposed to be exactly like the original. It sounds great and it’s really impressive. But nobody here seems to give a shit about that.
