Thanks Sean for finally making a decent, singer song version of the headrush core, I was beginning to think that no one could actually explain it, their needs to be more like this one with examples showing different ways to use the vocals with different effects from beginning to end. thanks! nice performance!!!
Thanks for this video. I own the Prime (love it). Glad to see you use it for vocals. Apparently other reviewers don’t sing and skip these awesome vocal features. Much appreciated. Great tune.
The Prime and Core are excellent units for guitar players. They're even better for this application. Love that they put effort into designing for singers.
Great video as always, Sean. If you could make a video walking through how you would build a brand new rig for your set list with different guitar and vocal effects and save it for a live gig that would be greatly appreciated. Btw I just got my headrush core this week and figuring out stuff..
Great Vid Sean a better demo than most out there. Good song! So I just got the Core a week ago (in spite of Auto-tune! and all the many, many other effects on it) and am just getting into it . I am a solo performer ( some times Duo). Like you, I wanted something relatively small and simple to set up.I play at jams, open mikes an small places. With this I can have my mic & guitar and plugged in to the board in less than 2 min. I can exit just as quickly. I have complete control of my sound and not have to depend on someone without a clue. It's amazing to be able to switch between acoustic and electric, Sometimes I use backing tracks, no problem their all loaded on the core. The looper and loading music files that can play -repeat sections for practice I find incredibly useful. For the most part I'm finding it to be fairly intuitive to operate, and so easy to make changes.
Good review. I have a question. If I use it as an audio interface, would it sound the same as any other Audio Interface for example, focus rite 2i2? R would the sound quality not be the same?
Where to buy , How much. I'm a singer song writer for many years, Acoustic songs mostly. This sounds interesting. I wander though if a good looper would work better for me, I want something I can use to help me develop my songs at home.
If you were to put together actual pedals that do everything this does. What kind of cost would that be roughly? Will you post a video of you using it and your thoughts after using it?
I have been putting together a pedal board wish list. Octave-Fuzz; Couple of Overdrive Pedals; Delay; Reverb you’re looking at c.£1000 in 2024 money for good quality pedals alone. The HR Core is currently £614 so probably pretty good value. Guess the benefit and fun of pedals is you can collect them one at a time and experiment via a real Amp. Really like the Auto Tune feature for vocals as a garden room player who might make an attempt at singing for a laugh! 😊
MAN SEAn ! This Really, really Needs to Go to """ Mr. Dylan GAVLIN""" out of "Berkley school of Music " " and Now out there in L.A. where You are also ! Ol West
Yeah... anyone that has gone through any sort of traumatic injury and might need a little help should just give up. Why should they have any joy doing something they have done for years. They should just quit like the losers they are.
First of all, I think you sing just fine and I like your songs. That dude's a dick. (Who takes the time to check out someone's channel just to insult them? Losers and dicks, that's who) Secondly, autotune is an effect (first used by Cher actually). It still sounds bad if you can't sing
Seriously I end up looking at a lot of gear, and the vocal suite settings make this a must-buy for me

Thank you so much! I totally agree. To me that's what really separates it from the other competitors but nobody really talks about it!

Thank you so much! The vocal features are my favorite part

I love the core so much
Finally somebody does what's missing on all the other reviews
Right!? The vocal stuff is the best part!

Awesome video!!! Quick question… is there a separate mic output that can go to the PA system ?
What a lovely song ..
Great demo
Thanks so much!
I have tried every modeler over the past year. I like my Mooer300 but I am missing something. I think this unit has what I am looking for. Thanks
don't need the Headrush but i sure like your T shirt.
Best place on earth!
Noticed in the comments people liked the songs… both those songs hit for me…great songwriting.. that second song has a sexy chorus & nice groove
Thank you so much!
I love my OG Headrush. I think I want the Prime
Dating myself but Jim Croce/Harry Chapin singer songwriter vibe for today's music. You'd slay Operator.
Thank you so much! I love Croce
Pretty sophisticated. Loved the songs too.
Enjoyed it! Nice… uh, i guess the headrush is ok, too!
Ayyyy

voicelive is also pretty nice.
I'll need to try that one.
That song was amazing brother. DId you write that? Where can I find it? This one hit home. Hard.
Thanks so much! Yeah it's a newer one, I'll have to record it properly soon.
@@seandaniel23 Looking forward to it.
Where did you get the really cool guitar strap from? Manufacturer?
Sean whats the first song you perform? I'd like to hear a studio version when you record it.
Thanks! Working on doing a legit version
The device was cool enough, but that song really blew me out of my chair!
Thanks so much!
@@seandaniel23 I hope you do record it proper. Big fan of The Lumineers. I could hear Wesley doing this.
They're great!

This could defiitely be it. I have a sweetwater link in the description if you're interested. I saw they just dropped the price too.

Filling the hole left by the absence of a Voicelive4.
Good vid

What’s the song name at 4:28? It’s super good

Okay the pedal is cool and all, but are you really gonna drop the song of the year in a gear demo?
Haha yeah I guess so
Me too.. lost me with auto tune. Won’t even consider the rest.
No one is making you use it, friend.

so ... Multi Effects = Digital pedals ?
Yup! It's the vocal effects for me.
Headrush has ZERO customer support. Like none. Seriously
🥱sorry Sean 😴
It’s best vocal setting was off
WHY DO YOU TALK LIKE THAT-UH ITS DRIVING ME INSANE-UH
You lost me with the auto tune - just no , either you can sing or you can’t
