- The New Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas is a 31-hectare project that embodies BSP’s inclusivity advocacy and the desire to be closer to the people.
As the first LEED and WELL certified government facility in the Philippines, it will be the benchmark for future government projects in terms of environmental sustainability and wellness promotion.
The masterplan balances publicly accessible zones with the high security imperatives of a central bank headquarters, a minting facility, and two tier 3 data centers. It features office facilities with innovative tech integrations, a museum, academic buildings, a sports complex, and retail spaces.

This kind of innovative approach is the only key to coping with other countries and it annoys me that other "Filipinos" don't take it seriously as if it is not achievable. This kind of mindset is the same mindset that kept us stagnant. I hope that this development will be appreciated and supported by the people.

very nice design. perfect for a university. but if it will be used as a government office. its not practical i'd go for a vertical one.. imagine the distance between each department? some matters have to be discussed on a face to face basis, not thru emails and online meetings. consider the maintenance cost. how many cleaners, gardeners, technicians, security personnel are you going to hire? remember, bigger space means more manpower. government offices should be practical, cost effective with minimum operating cost. remember, its the tax payers money that you are spending. btw, how many emplyees are currently working in BSP head office? "promote health and wellness"? in your dreams... with the kind of work culture there in the Philippines? Goodluck! . start with how the management treats you especially in the finance sector.. ewan ko kung ma enjoy mo pa yang mga plaza sa design na yan.

With thousands of employees, would they be willing to relocate to a place outside of Metromanila? That would be a shocking transformation with their lives.

Maganda but A decade or two, malalaos na yung design nyan. Looks like a mall. Not a fan of modernist design, why dont build a unique neoclassical looking building that fits to be a central bank?
I think this is not the right time to have new bsp building.... Current building still serve and function well.. Its better to focus in lowering the inflation of peso first.... It just a waste of money.
I don’t agree that this is to be built sa NCC.
While I am for decentralization and further agree that NCC is a bustling and fast growing city, BSP should be “near” where the financial institutions are. There are none based there. It should be near the DOF too and shouldn’t be 2-3 hour car ride. Even by train it is gonna be more than an hour away.
I mean if it were somewhere in south Bulacan it would have been better than NCC at least from there it is still reasonably near Metro Manila and in fact is still part of Mega-Manila.
