Study Rom 8, and you' ll see that Rom 8 speaks from the start of creation. The crucifixion, and the final promise, mentioned in Heb 12:39,40 also. It clearly mention Rom 8:23, that we only receive a portion of the Holy Spirit. But there is a promise for the FULLNESS. We have to wait and pray for it. V 25, 26. We have to keep in mind that the translation of the scriptures requires a lot of effort and many years of labor. The fact that someone has begun to translate without having passed that period of education and without having been appointed by the god as a translator---and creating a new doctrine with this translation as well---is not a good sign. I speak as a person who has spent over thirty years translating.
All the fossil evidence we have points to the emergence of modern day homo sapiens somewhere between 196,000 and 300,000 years ago. To suggest a number of 6,000 based solely on an antiquated ancestor list from a religious text is ridiculous. Also, all evidence goes against the idea that all humans descended from 2 people. Genetics alone disproves that idea.
