I feel so bad for Anakin. He lost literally everything, but what hurt him most was how it was his fault that he lost Padme. He threw away his life with her, and for the next 20 years or so, had to live with that. He's the definition of a tragic hero.
So true. I’m so glad that in the end it was love that saved him in the end, that Anakin gave up all the power of universe with the Empire because of the love he had for his son, just as his son Luke loved him as he would not strike him down.
@@IDK-lt5dl Not true tho. There is no such thing as Force Heaven. Anakin has retained his individuality beyond death, but that has almost nothing to do with heaven. And also, he will never see padme again. He served a specific purpose in the universe and fulfilled his destiny, but never got what he wanted or deserved, even after death. Fate was cruel to him, and he never got to be happy.

@@Garry_Combine George Lucas and John Williams were like Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone. Either of them were geniusses, but together, they created immortal masterpieces. They are basically the opposite of Kathleen Kennedy and Rian Johnson.
Agreed. It's worse for me than a lot of older fans one you consider this era was supposed to be my generations Star Wars and KK stole that from most people my age (around 15-25, I'm 20). Luckily my parents raised me on the og trilogy and I watched the prequels and clone wars, so I'm well versed. Your right though, Lucas and Williams work so well together, fun fact, did you know it was Spielberg who brought them together? It's why the three of them worked on Raiders
Without Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Igor Stravinsky, Antonín Dvořák and many other composeres, their is no Star Wars. Thank you Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Igor Stravinsky and the other composers*****
I cried at the movie... I cried when Anakin went to the dark side... I cried when Padme had her kids... I cried when she had no will to live... I cried when Padme DIED... and now I'm crying because of this song and all of the pictures... In my eyes, Padme and Anakin will live together forever
I love the republic era. Seriously. Also, the prequels bring up so many memories because they were released when I was a young kid. It will just stay in my heart forever and when I heard this song live played by an orchestra, I couldn't stop the tears :)
This song brings so much nostalgia for me because those movies came out when I was a kid. I just get this certain feeling in my stomach when i hear this the build up of this song and it's awesome.
How can people say the romance was bad? Anakins lines??? They weren’t supposed to be smooth, remember Anakin was so in love with her he was so nervous around her, do you really think he would be a smooth talker? It was also forbidden, and he had never been so in love before. The love scenes were perfect
I also think people forget we are talking about a guy who's basically been raised as a monk, falling in love with someone who's basically been a politician since she was 13. Theres some bad dialogue but Hayden nails how youd expect him to act.
The Sam Raimi Spiderman Trilogy did the same thing except way better acted which it isn't the actress for like any actor with struggled to make those lines good
How can people dislike these movies, or at least these two and their romance. This theme is so hauntingly beautiful and it perfectly merges with the whole tragedy. It's so powerful and intense and sad just like their story is.
+fra4675 "or at least these two and their romance." Its not very intense when he said "I can not Im a Jedi" and she said "I can not Im a Senator". The three movies are very good when you just hear the music, but the rest of it is just stupid.
+fra4675 Maybe because the romance was completely forced and devoid of and all chemistry. Seriously, two planks of wood facing one another would make a more compelling love story - at least they wouldn't spout laughably bad and cliched dialogue. Can anyone please tell me one good reason that Padme would fall in love with Anakin and agree to marry him?
Mademoiselle Jeudi I can understand that attractiveness alone might do it for some, but usually when you agree to marry someone you think twice if you know the person is a murderous creep.
crixxxxxxxxx And what if Padmé didn't know that Anakin was a murderous creep? I mean, I haven't seen the movie since a few years and I've see it only once but if I remember well, Anakin doesn't basically want to become a Sith, does he? (at least in Star Wars II)
Discordinator no, he definitely meant the 19th century when composers such as Chopin, Brahms, Schubert and more romantic period composers were at large. C18 doesn’t fit this style at all, as the music was more simple/in time and less complex chords were used. This is full blown romantic classical.
@@skipzcs You are right but read their comment again. They said "Late 18th [century] _or_ the 1700s". Since those are the same century, it's reasonable to assume that they think 19th century = 1900s and therefore when they said classical music came to head in the 18th century, they were thinking of the 1800s
The cruelest of all Palpatine's deeds was, when he corrupted Anakin's love for Padme and used it to hurl Anakin into the descent that turned him into Darth Vader.
I agree with Gianluca Berger. The song is from attack of the clones, but I also agree with you, Kia. I always cry, when watch Revenge of the sith. Sorry for my English, but it's not my first language!
I think your right ....Im looking at the score and the intro solo is definitely oboe however I don't have the sketches for the finals bars ...its does sound like a cor anglais (lower register and richer tone) ..would make sense. Across the Stars....Youth (Oboe) to old age (cor anglais) being a lower register instrument with a deeper timbre.
I can see that. Personally, I have never seen anything so beautiful, yet so sad, as the romance of Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala. The magnitude of their tragedy is beyond comprehension.
+TV/Movies/Pizza/Sushi Lover Pretty equal in my opinion... one is you throwing two people together and having them talk about sand and the other is one staring at the other for five hours straight.
+People_And_Me Not the same, when people asked Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) why would his character fall in love with Bella, he said that he honestly didn't know why would he fall in love with her; and do you know why? Because she's monotone, she's boring, and has no personality. When asking Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker) why would his character fall in love with Padme, he said that because she was a strong willed person, and that he wasn't attracted to her political power but to the power she held within herself, and that she was very intelligent and beautiful. Besides it has been confirmed that Edward and Bella show 15 symptoms of being in an abusive relationship, Edward controls Bella, forbids her from seeing her best friend (Jacob), kidnaps her, and doesn't give a damn about what she thinks; did you ever see Anakin stopping Padme from visiting Bail Organa or talking to Obi Wan? I'll answer you, no! Bella is selfish, she doesn't care about Edward's feelings, she just cares about what she wants, while Padme at least tried to not get involved with Anakin because she didn't want him to give up his future as a Jedi for her, of course at the end she did marry Anakin but Anakin was the only selfish desire she allowed herself to have, while Bella is selfish all the time, she uses both Edward and Jacob however she wants, she's disrespectful to her parents, and she only cares about her. Like I said, Anakin and Padme, definitely still a better love story than Twilight.
@@ΧάρηςΑ-δ7ι The conversation between Luke and Leia about their mother was mainly about the force and their connection through it. So most probaly she only felt the memory of her mother
I heard that it's because in the original script for star wars, their mother wasn't supposed to have died in childbirth, it was changed when the prequels were made
EminAnimE1 I'll agree that the concept of the story was good and if George Lucas had more people to call him out on some bullshit or better actor's director, it could've worked. Also, you have to remember the actors aren't shit. The acting is shit
Whether you agree or not, Anakin and Padme’s conflict and conflict with everything else is the best, and most important part of star wars. Its a real tear jerker when you really get deep into everything and their hearts. The torment Anakin goes through, Padme’s lack of will to live. Beautifully written.
Anakin: "From the moment I met you, all those years ago, not a day has gone by when I haven't thought of you. And now that I'm with you again... I'm in agony. The closer I get to you, the worse it gets. The thought of not being with you- I can't breath. I'm haunted by the kiss that you should never have given me. My heart is beating... hoping that kiss will not become a scar. You are in my very soul, tormenting me... what can I do?- I will do anything you ask".
Whenever i hear this i always think of how their family couldve turned out to be, Luke and Leia trained by Anakin, Ahsoka and Obi wan would be like an uncle and aunt to them, all would be well

@@Virsniekz Yes. Agreed. Earlier (Because of Anakin’s reckless driving/flying) Why do I feel like you’re going to be the death of me? Don’t say that, master, you’re the closest thing I have to a father.
I’m in the same boat! This is easily my favorite song! I love the prequels I hate that they have so much beaf on them! TBH I think Attack Of The Clones might be my favorite Star Wars movie 😂 (Please Don’t come after me about how they are “terrible”’ I really like them but that’s just my opinion 🙂! And It all makes up for Hayden Christensen’s bad acting because he has a BEAUTIFUL Face! 😂) I watched revenge of the Sith a few weeks ago ( I wasn’t allowed to watch it because my Mom didn’t want to traumatize ) and have been CRAZY for Star Wars sense! It’s strange to think the last movie in the prequel trilogy came out in 2006 (that’s before I was even born!) and its 14 Years later and it’s still one of the greatest movies ever!
@Deformed Rat Honestly between now and then I’ve watched more of his movies and my opinion has changed so much! I now realize that the they just weren’t given enough takes! Gorge Lukas was focused more on the CGI then the scrip in that movie so I think they just weren’t given a chance to improve! I also think it’s more just the character of Anakin Skywalker not as much Hayden Christensen’s acting skills! If that makes any sense 😂
so so beautiful. my favorite couple out of all the trilogies. it's a classic, romantic, beautiful love. like a fairytale. and the music sums up their relationship so well. classic, beautiful, and with slight darker themes in it. a love that unfortunately will not last forever. so beautiful
I think that wasn't only a few days. Just think it over. The war began. They actually needed time to escape for a while, and their wounds they had got while fighting in the end of episode II were already disappeared. Though it's a fair point that their lines were horrible. And finally I don't feel their relationship impossible despite all the things you've mentioned. It's kind of usual that a younger boys fells in love with a girl who's a few years older than him. And the murderies? COME ON THERE WAS A WAR, and his mum was unfairly treasoned and murdered too.
rosie x too bad the dialogue and acting was so bad. You could legitimately see why they loved each other but almost everything they said was laughable and killed the mood.
I used to play this around her randomly, she never understood why… until I showed her Star Wars, she just hugged me and said “so that’s what you mean when you play that song” she is so beautiful, we have a baby boy together.. but she ended it with me today… I’m broken, but I can’t help but listen to this masterpiece, just to remind me of what was, and what may still come for us, I miss her already…❤
Anakin and Padme are an awesome couple. Ironicly as a jedi she was his weakness. As a sith he was also held back by the good in him but that helped him redeem himself. I don't know if you have noticed but in 19 BBY Anakin was 23. At that time he became a sith and after that served the empire for 22-23 years. He died at the age of 45 bringing balnce to the force-sure there were still remnants of the empire but he had destroyed the sith leaving only imposters behind. Sure the new sith Kylo Ren loves Vader and respects his power, but he isn't a true sith. As you can see balance is a fact for Anakin-half of his life he was good half bad. Having an impact on both sides-jedi and sith alike
There is only one thing common in the prequel, OG and sequel trilogies. John Williams always nails the soundtrack. Always gives us 1000%. I love his work.
+Skywalker For me, it's always "I'm Sorry" That battle when I was playing as the Clones, in a neck-to-neck battle with the CIS over Kamino, with the rain pouring down on the helmets of fallen brothern.
What a poignant irony it is that Anakin's story is a tragedy born out of absolute love. To the Jedi, the highest calling is the protection of innocents, at all cost. To Anakin, there was no cost too high for saving the one person he was truly attached to. Everything, including himself and all that he was, was expendable as long as it meant Padme would live. Another thing to remember is that, throughout his descent into the Dark Side, Anakin never succumbed to blind malevolence. His character was being consciously twisted and mangled by the effects of the Dark Side, but the one (maybe the only) part of Anakin which was completely indestructible and incorruptible was his resolve to save Padme. Again... at any cost. Anakin was aware of what he was doing to the world around him. But that didn't matter, nothing else mattered. "Where is Padme? Is she safe? Is she all right?"... even after the fight with Obi-Wan in which he finally betrayed even his closest friend, even after the protracted agony of being rebuilt as a half-man, half-machine abomination, even after completely giving in to the Dark Side, the first thing he thought of was Padme. When she was gone, he became nothing but a bottomless abyss of darkness, pain, desperation and self-hate... Palpatine's plan was complete. That is, until Luke came along, the sole reminder he had of Padme. At that point, the fragments of good that were buried throughout his repressed memories began surfacing with such an intensity that they were rapidly reversing the corruption within himself. I'd dare say that Anakin did not sacrifice himself to destroy Palpatine solely because Luke was about to get killed, but rather that the main motivator was seeing a part of him and Padme dying and being reminded that Palpatine had betrayed Anakin's only wish, and sentenced him to a fate worse than death. The movies were executed rather haphazardly, and there was huge room for improvement in the way their relationship was portrayed. But one aspect nobody can ever deny is that almost every strategic action Anakin ever took had somehow had Padme's well-being as an intended priority. Padme quite literally meant the world and the stars to Anakin.
+GopnikThunder Well said. Very well said, indeed. Anakin and Padme's romance explored the other extreme of the spectrum, of which the first end is taking love for granted. But the much less rarely explored one is doing too much to the point where you possess him or her and only care about yourself. So actually, it's not a spectrum, but two different ways to arrive at the same terrible result, your romance ending tragically. Check out these links: www.borderlinepersonalitydisorder.com/professionals/notes-from-professionals/john-gunderson/ www.livescience.com/10679-psychology-darth-vader-revealed.html Both of these links are about borderline personality disorder (BPD). The second one in particular makes it clear that Anakin had it and as such, was inevitable that he would do bad things, in order to defend what little good he had in his life (his mother and his wife). Thanks to being enslaved from birth, Anakin was naturally going to seek power, no matter the cost. But it was Darth Sidious that preyed upon those feelings and ensured that he would act upon them in the worst ways possible. Besides Sidious's influence, however, Anakin's fall from Grace was quite realistic. Anakin Skywalker was, in essence, a ticking time bomb. The results of Sidious bringing his BPD-fueled rage out were very similar to what happened at the Columbine High School Massacre, from what I've seen. Just like Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, Anakin Skywalker sought power and lots of it and all three of them got it via very violent revenge. I would bet that Lucas was thinking of Columbine, when he was writing the scenes for the massacres at the Temple and of the Separatist leaders. He even had Obi-Wan and Yoda walking through the halls through the bodies. "Not even the younglings survived," Obi-Wan said. God, even without showing Vader murdering them, had this movie been released post-Sandy Hook, the controversy would have been through the roof. In essence, those massacre scenes and aftermath were the Star Wars versions of school shootings, especially the Temple, because it was a school. Very dark and morose, I know, but the sheer realism, despite the sci-fi elements, makes ROTS all the more tragic, but brilliant. Had it been acted and written properly, it would probably be considered, at least in my book, to be the best movie in the Saga.
cchdz I didn't say that it was or wasn't. I was just saying that the cause of Anakin's fall was more tragic than we can imagine, because there was more realism in it than we realize at first.
cchdz People doing terrible things out of fear? Sorry, very real. Read the links I posted and you'll see that while the scale of the consequences of Anakin's fall is just about impossible, the causes of them are real, albeit quite rare.
This song is awesome. Its all I can say. Well... I guess I can also say its full of love, romance, and sadness. However, they are finally together ( in the 6th movie ). Even though they did not make it to LIVE happily together.. They were able to find each other in death. Across the stars, where they will find themselves together. Beyond life's reach, where they will finally be happy.
Isn't it crazy how vader was able to turn back. I mean imagine how depressed hew was when he did to. Like damn he was like hitler, but then he stopped and hoped to help the light. All the bad and good in the name of love.
You can know nothing about Star Wars but listening to this incredible piece tells you all you need to know about Anakin and Padmé's relationship. It always breaks my fucking heart no matter how many times I hear it, no matter what kind of scene is playing in the background. It perfectly captures the essence of their relationship and how absolutely tragic it was yet so incredibly beautiful, heart-wrenching and so very intense at the same time. The title of the piece is extremely fitting as well. Their love changed the galaxy, wrote history and no matter how far apart they may be their love transcends time and distance across the stars. Yes I'm absolutely crying and overwhelmed rn
Damn been the chosen one comes with a cost. Anakin lived most of his life with fear anger hatred and later as vader with such suffering and he finally redeemed himself in the end. Not all who wander are lost.
+Octavio89 This is just my opinion. I grew up watching the movies out of order. to me its still star wars. Both trilogies have flaws. Ill admit that episode 1 was a little boring... but I still enjoy it. I even like Jar Jar. so say what you want about me. I sill stand by my opinion.
+Octavio89 its a tad hypocritical to say "its okay its your opinion" then " your opinion is shit". How about just accept that not everyone shares your opinion and that's okay? That makes more sense than being unkind on a social media platform.
The prequels certainly have their issues- one being the often wooden delivery between padma and anakin, but honestly, the visuals and the SOUNDTRACKS for I, II and III are absolutely stunning. This is one of my all time favourite songs, and one of the best of Williams work in my opinion
+Brianthegreat You are right! That would add emotion and tension to it. It would show Anakin that what he did was truly evil, and by attempting to stop death, he had caused so much of it. It would also show Obi-Wan how far Anakin is gone, how the man he knew was truly gone and he had to kill Darth Vader who had consumed his friend, and essentially his brother.
:D He didn't kill him, but he left him to die because he wouldn't kill an unarmed man. But the objective he had was to kill Darth Vader, which he would learn that he had failed to kill him
After watching the Star Wars Marathon these past two days... I forgot how _frickin'_ awesome Star Wars I, II and III were... Out of the Saga, the first three are my favourite... I love Hayden Christensen... Ewan McGregor... And Natalie Portman in those films... Especially the second and third... But my all time favourite is Revenge Of The Sith... Not just because of how god damn awesome it is, but because of how you see Anakin's character finally becoming Darth Vader, and the most epic Lightsaber battle in the history of Star Wars Between Obi Wan and Anakin- Closely followed by Darth Vader and Luke, but other people have their opinions... And this is mine... Memories of these films... You forget how good they are :')
I always get teary eyed when I listen to this, it's a masterpiece imo. Maybe it's my favorite John Williams piece. It portrays different moods and states so well and clear. I come back to it over and over again.
That wasn't it. Jedi weren't allowed to fall in love because things like Anakin could happen and had happened in the past. There were exceptions, but it was a standing rule. They make more Jedi not by giving birth to them, but by finding force-sensitive children who are born throughout the galaxy. That's why the Temple existed- to gather and train Jedi. The Force is actually a religion in Star Wars. A man even says to Darth Vader in one scene, "Your sad devotion to that ancient religion...".
What a sad story between Anakin and Padme QwQ After watching ROTJ when Darth Vader a.k.a Anakin dies, I realized (I hope I'm not the last/first) that Anakin fulfilled the prophecy of being The Chosen One. I remember watching the TV show version that took place in between episode 2 and 3, and in season 3, Anakin was told that he would bring balance again (after when he brought balance to the planet of Mortis) for the galaxy. And near the end of the final battle between Luke vs Vader vs Sidious, Vader killed Sidious. And by that, brought balance to the galaxy because he was the Sith Lord. I guess if a person ever went to the Dark Side, only The Chosen One would be able to return to the light. It seems that Padme and Qui-Gon were right after all. Anakin is The Chosen One, and after becoming Darth Vader there was still good left in him.
Anakin/Vader is a fallen hero, he's the main character of the Saga and the real vilain is Palpatine. And honestly, is story with Padme is Ive got to admit, heartbreaking.
Anakin is .... difficult. He was a Jedi at heart and wished to do the right thing but becamed engulfed in love utterly breaking the jedi code. At first, he wished not to turn in fact he wished to turn in Palpatine to prevent the sith from returning. He does eventually however embrace it and it is anger and passion that fuels his power which is the way fo the dark side. You could say he was a Gray Jedi trying to explore all sides of the force.
+Matthew Brant Fuck off mate, did you not read the sign? It says "Fuck the whole sequel vs prequel i love the entire saga". The PT is as meaningful and deep and dramatic and entertaining, if not more, than the OT and the other SW movies. If you're a true fan you'll love them all, that's all I have to say. Only little bitch manchildren can't let go of their childhoods and grow up and accept a dramatic story with politics and drama in it as a Star Wars movie, hate the prequels. Their immaturity doesn't allow them to see a darker and deeper take on Star Wars since all they want are Chewy and Han and more circlejerk pandering to the OT purists. I love them all and Ep 3 and 4 are my favs, with Rogue One coming in at third.
For me personally one of the greatest Themes which ever reached my ears. Never ever Movies have grown on me as The Prequels, especially "Attack of the Clones", which I like more and more with every watch.
I dedicated so much of my childhood to Galactic Conquest. I wouldn't purchase any of the units other than the default soldier because when the battle started you would see thousands of regular clones or storm troopers depending on what faction you are. I miss that game so much.
I can’t hate on the prequels anymore. They are absolutely imperfect, but they are some of my favorite imperfect masterpieces. Also, the soundtrack is a definitive masterpiece.
They're so flawed and I can't really bring myself to call them "good" films, but I can't call them "bad" or "trash" or "mid" either. There are things the prequels do SO well yet also completely fumble on time to time. The og trilogy was much more consistent for sure.
Leave it to the greatest composer of All time, John Williams. This score is absolutely brilliant and truly captures the essence of their love story. I love the clip of them embracing each other with the split screen showing Darth Vader. You can see Padme's reflection in the eye piece on Vaders helmet. Brilliant shot. Beautiful story.
Imagine an Episode 8 scene where Anakin confronts Kylo Ren while Rey is being tortured by Snoke. What remains of the goodness within Ben conflicts with his darkness, and Anakin appears. He warns Ben to not make the same mistakes he had. He closes his eyes, smiling warmly as he remembers Padme and finally reveals to Ben that attachments aren't weaknesses, they're his greatest strength. This music plays in the background (0:12 specifically)
This helps me get all of the stress out of my body and just brings me to tears because I want to express my feelings and my emotions but I have nobody to talk to
Such a lovely romance between the two. Strong feelings for both, it was so divine and this theme really gets to me haha.. So sad it turned differently at the end.
Ya, I totally understand why Padmé fell in love with Anakin. Anakin will always be that little boy from Tatooine to her. Plus Anakin stalked her for ten years. Oh, and he stared at her when she clearly didn't want him to. Oh, and he touched her up. Oh, and he also brought his mother's corpse home and stated he had murdered an entire village. Who doesn't like that???
I think Anakin and Padame's "romance" is gorram terrible. There's absolutely zero chemistry between the two. It's all built up through them telling expository/awkward love dialogue. It's the epitome of trite, forced romance based around "this person is pretty and this person is pretty, therefore, they must be in love"
+Jelly Jams I think their whole romance is meant to be a deconstruction of those tropes. Their relationship is an unhealthy one, with Anakin and Padme codependent on each other and it's this codependency that leads their downfall because of how unhealthy it is. This relationship is a sharp contrast to Han and Leia's relationship in the Original trilogy, which is pretty healthy and they have goals and aspirations independent of the other.
+janeyrevanescence12 honestly this romance is the epitome of superficial and one-dimensional romance. instead of showing their love, we have to be told they are in love via clichéd, uninteresting romance dialogue. emotionally satisfying scenes like Han and Leia's almost-kiss in the Falcon are replaced with Anakin awkwardly talking about sand it really show how little Lucas knows about romance
Anakin's story is the perfect example of trying to prevent something from happening so much you end up causing it to happen.

How can people say the romance was bad? Anakins lines??? They weren’t supposed to be smooth, remember Anakin was so in love with her he was so nervous around her, do you really think he would be a smooth talker? It was also forbidden, and he had never been so in love before. The love scenes were perfect
EXACTLY, someone gets it! I think SOME scenes could have been better (fireplace scene) but it's good enough!
I also think people forget we are talking about a guy who's basically been raised as a monk, falling in love with someone who's basically been a politician since she was 13. Theres some bad dialogue but Hayden nails how youd expect him to act.
also he was a SLAVE then taught how not to feel emotions cos they are bad for you. not the healthiest coping mechanisms
The Sam Raimi Spiderman Trilogy did the same thing except way better acted which it isn't the actress for like any actor with struggled to make those lines good
It makes sense but they could have made this more explicit as well.

How can people dislike these movies, or at least these two and their romance. This theme is so hauntingly beautiful and it perfectly merges with the whole tragedy. It's so powerful and intense and sad just like their story is.
+fra4675
"or at least these two and their romance."
Its not very intense when he said "I can not Im a Jedi" and she said "I can not Im a Senator".
+crixxxxxxxxx I agree with you but, seriously, do you really need a "good reason" to fall in love? Because I don't.
It's hard to believe this wasn't composed in the late 19th century. This composition is beautiful.
20th*
Sarah Vitória MJ no he meant late 18th, or the 1700s, where classical music really came to a head
Since those are the same century, it's reasonable to assume that they think 19th century = 1900s and therefore when they said classical music came to head in the 18th century, they were thinking of the 1800s

true
Like I said, Anakin and Padme, definitely still a better love story than Twilight.

so so beautiful. my favorite couple out of all the trilogies. it's a classic, romantic, beautiful love. like a fairytale. and the music sums up their relationship so well. classic, beautiful, and with slight darker themes in it. a love that unfortunately will not last forever. so beautiful
It's the ultimate Romeo and Juliet
Fives but actually worth watching
Too bad that Hayden Christiansen brought dirt and oil, and Natalie Portman brought water to their roles.

+teddykazandjiev Actually the Sith still exist after Darth Vader. Its like the jedi not all were wiped out by order 66, and vice versa with the Sith.

Never could have anyone put it better than you 😍😍😍😍

I agree with mark. Also my favorite theme EVER
+Octavio89
This is just my opinion. I grew up watching the movies out of order. to me its still star wars. Both trilogies have flaws. Ill admit that episode 1 was a little boring... but I still enjoy it. I even like Jar Jar. so say what you want about me. I sill stand by my opinion.
+Octavio89
I dont care what you think.
+Mark Jordan I like you. equally.
Grace Sanders The wooden delivery was not the actors faults but the directors.
SkyExplosion wdym wooden delivery
Nothing like outdated and ugly CGI that makes your film look like an episode of Beast wars.
Nah. The prequels have no issues.
Anthony Massari the battle of Coruscant still looks pretty good.
for me, the saddest love story ever in the History.
There is another...but that's in injustice game universe...... actually more tragic than this one
It's so sad !
thifany green They were re-united in the Force.
@ here comes the guy who thinks he knows many things other do not but actually doesnt know shit
@ can you tell me a story which is NOT cliché
This has to be one of the hardest hitting songs in all of starwars
this honestly slaps so hard at night
"From my point of view the Jedi are evil!"
*Kills a group of 7 year olds*
I wish Obi-Wan replied with a ,you have the audacity to say the jedi are evil when you murdered those children!
+Antonio Carmona if i remember right obiwan didnt kill anakin/darth vader tho
But from Obi-Wan's point of view, Anakin would burn in the lava.
Episode 3 is also my favorite
+FEATHERPELT DRAWS I have felt a great disturbance in the force... as if a million fanboys just cried out in anguish
+FEATHERPELT DRAWS You are right, Ewan McGregor made Obi Wan my favourite Star Wars charecter. :)
+Deyan Dimitrov They honestly couldn't have picked anyone better :)
+Featherpelt Draws *gets shot by Original Trilogy Fanboy*
I always get teary eyed when I listen to this, it's a masterpiece imo. Maybe it's my favorite John Williams piece. It portrays different moods and states so well and clear. I come back to it over and over again.
I feel the completely exactly samw way. I can not describe what emotions this theme gives me.
" From my point of view sand is evil ! "
+kevin durant "Well then you are lost!"
+Octavio89 YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE! IT WOULD SAID YOU WOULD DESTROY THE SITH NOT JOIN THEM! BRING BALANCE TO THE FORCE NOT LEAVE IT IN DARKNESS!!!
+Thomas Millin not join them*
Trusty_Tanker yeah your right, my brain farted
Honestly fucking dying
A love story older and better than Twilight. I love you John Williams and Lucas Films for making Star Wars!
1) Better than Twilight
2) Still sucks ass. Music was great in every Star Wars, but the story was terrible in the three prequels. -.-
The plot was terrible. Jedi's weren't allowed to fall in love. How else would they make more?
That wasn't it. Jedi weren't allowed to fall in love because things like Anakin could happen and had happened in the past. There were exceptions, but it was a standing rule.
They make more Jedi not by giving birth to them, but by finding force-sensitive children who are born throughout the galaxy. That's why the Temple existed- to gather and train Jedi. The Force is actually a religion in Star Wars. A man even says to Darth Vader in one scene, "Your sad devotion to that ancient religion...".
Damn. Guess I have to research all three movies again
yes,, but not a good story to tell. its awkward and the only thing that is good is the musical score !
John Williams, first he did the original trilogy.... then he did the prequels like 30 years later and it's just as good, what a genius.
The most beautiful love story in the galaxy yet the most heartbreaking ❤️
Love is beautiful and scary 😭💔
The harp at the end killing me everytime...
me too, I got no words for the harp part
What a sad story between Anakin and Padme QwQ
After watching ROTJ when Darth Vader a.k.a Anakin dies, I realized (I hope I'm not the last/first) that Anakin fulfilled the prophecy of being The Chosen One.
Vader was never a true sith despite all jedi he mass murdered. The sith code said peace is a lie, but He believed in peace
Damn right solution. The most tragic fate ive ever seen. Still rather hard for me to watch it on TV...
Anakin/Vader is a fallen hero, he's the main character of the Saga and the real vilain is Palpatine. And honestly, is story with Padme is Ive got to admit, heartbreaking.
Q_Q why remind me? ;v;
Fuck the whole sequel vs prequel i love the entire saga
I agree. I find the prequels to as entertaining as the original trilogy.
Mark Jordan that's pushing it but episode 3 was great!
Sci_Ant episode 2 and 7 are the ones I don't like haha
Matthew Brant Cool
For me personally one of the greatest Themes which ever reached my ears. Never ever Movies have grown on me as The Prequels, especially "Attack of the Clones", which I like more and more with every watch.

Please select a fleet to command!
Star Wars Battlefront 2 ^^
Yes! God, I have to pull that game out again :D
Michael Lorietta We have captured a command post!
Commander Skywalker has entered the battlefield.
Bruhhh I wish I could give you a million likes
This piece is so emotional. No other song ever makes me feel something more powerful than this song
"Anakin, you're breaking my heart!"
This song almost made me cry... just remember the good times when I was young ... seen episode 3 and the others over and over...
Saaaaame
I feel you and I felt so evil *not playing* when my grandma died i feel lost for 3 years and I'm almost 11 so 4 years
"Select a fleet to command"
good one lol.
Why is there no Empire at War 3 yet TT
2:33 battlefront 2.
This made me cry.... (not really) LONG LIVE BATTLEFRONT 2.
Galactic conquest was an amazing game mode--Remember your training and fight!
I dedicated so much of my childhood to Galactic Conquest. I wouldn't purchase any of the units other than the default soldier because when the battle started you would see thousands of regular clones or storm troopers depending on what faction you are. I miss that game so much.
Before I die, I would be sad that I would never be able to see Star Wars ever again.
I'm just glad I got to live during a time period where Star Wars exists.
Snoke dead boi
Flip it with Rey and you predicted it dude
I wouldn't have liked that... this is the "Anakin and Padmé OST" and not the "Anakin and Feelings OST"
Imagine a Sequel Trilogy that wasn't complete dogshit
imagine if the sequel trilogy wasnt trash and included anakin who is basically star wars.
Man, this piece always cracks me up. I cry everytime. It's so special and characteristic.
Possibly my favourite theme in all of Star Wars.
This theme always makes me cry...
as it should.....u baby
so romantic and beautiful... and so sad...
Oh you Byakuya ! who knew you were such sentimental !
Nightmesis With this music I can't retain my feelings!
John Williams added the emotion Lucas' horrible dialogue couldn't.
+Noah Cruz that is so true
George Lucas has good ideas he just has problems displaying them
He's not a good script writer. He's a better storyteller.
"I don't like sand."
+FocusReborn lol
Yeah? I don't either! XD
+FocusReborn Poor Hayden :( that's how people remember him.
Hayden was pretty good in episode 3 though.
"I never knew there was so much green."
This helps me get all of the stress out of my body and just brings me to tears because I want to express my feelings and my emotions but I have nobody to talk to
This love story is more interesting to watch than Romeo and Juliet
@@vantagepoint9270 exactly
Romeo and Juliet are more symbols now than anything. Their story is not as good as this one.
Agreed
Such a lovely romance between the two. Strong feelings for both, it was so divine and this theme really gets to me haha.. So sad it turned differently at the end.
Ya, I totally understand why Padmé fell in love with Anakin. Anakin will always be that little boy from Tatooine to her. Plus Anakin stalked her for ten years. Oh, and he stared at her when she clearly didn't want him to. Oh, and he touched her up. Oh, and he also brought his mother's corpse home and stated he had murdered an entire village. Who doesn't like that???
+Valpas Kankaristo Hahaha well summed up (y) any girl would want that :D
+janeyrevanescence12 honestly this romance is the epitome of superficial and one-dimensional romance. instead of showing their love, we have to be told they are in love via clichéd, uninteresting romance dialogue.
emotionally satisfying scenes like Han and Leia's almost-kiss in the Falcon are replaced with Anakin awkwardly talking about sand
it really show how little Lucas knows about romance
This is gonna be my wedding song. My future wife can't stop it happening
If you were my future husband, I wouldn't stop you.
And thus another love story is started
I feel the same way about my future wedding.
Play Anakin’s Betrayal
I would love to have this be my wedding song! I would be so happy
This theme is the best part of their entire relationship.
Tienes razón.
What about Anakin’s Betrayal
@@kiblord8252 That was the saddest part
