Completed Through-Hole Solder Practice Kit

This is the Gikfun Electronic LED Flashing Lights Soldering Practice Board PCB DIY Kit EK1874 that I assembled Sunday. My first real soldering job, no snap, crackle, or pop, and all the LEDs work! Soldering is a good skill to have for anyone interesting in playing with DIY embedded systems.
It's a simple 555 timer circuit clocking a decade counter, where the pot controls the variable clock tick. 555 speaker squealer with pot was one of my first breadboard projects in 1981 when I was learning about IC's, so this is a perfect bookend!
I got this to practice soldering after taking Mark de Vinck's soldering course on LinkedIn Learning. Next up will be an SMT practice kit.
