I’ve shared Les Brown’s UA-cam videos with so many of my fellow Marine Corps Veterans and young men still on active duty. He’s been the most relatable, down to earth 🌍 inspirational speaker I’ve known of in over a decade. I remember how he’d deliver his truth with humor and offer inspirational solutions. He makes you think “You can do it”! He’s actually from my hometown and famous for having been married to Gladys Knight. He’s famous in his own right as well. Love him and had no idea of his addiction. Thank God for his recovery.
Thank you so much for mentioning incarcerated individuals. I have someone in jail who’s mind has changed dramatically but I see them where I used to be before I started listening to helpful people like Les brown and others. I’ve always wanted to be able to send them the knowledge I’ve listened to and learned from! He’s currently waiting to receive tablets this month! It’s very important we help those who are lost so thanks🙏
This is hilarious because I used to borrow my boyfriend’s Honda civic (he got himself a tesla & let me use the Honda) Then one day I wanted to go on a sunrise hike. I went home to get some supplies & I parked in front of my driveway and I came back out to find 2 tickets on the car. (This was really random bc I live on a side street & there’s rarely ever cops) The next day I’m driving to the hike around 5am & 10 min away from the parking lot, I hit a pit hole so hard it caught a flat tire (I was an over an hour away from home) he was upset but called me a tow truck Then I had church group that night so I got the flat fixed (never went on my hike) and when I was coming home from church to look for parking some girl tried to key the car because she said I took her parking (mind you, this is a public street) He got so mad with everything happening all at once and sold the Honda the next day for $6,000 About a week later we bought a bmw with half the miles, a newer year & all around just a nicer luxury car for only $10,000 One of best parts is one of his goals was to reduce his car payments and the insurance on the bmw is only $40!
