Lost my mind when you one shorted the first boss. So glad I found this channel.
To be fair, he started the run at level 99, presumably with the shards he was gonna use already at Rank 9 and Grade 9.

The boss at 11:00 in the video, are you not allowed to skip him in NMG?
You can but I didn't know you could back then
how do you superman fly straight up?
You can make a High Jump shard by combining the Double Jump shard with a Bovine Plume. From there, just press L/L1/LB either while holding up or while Miriam is in the air. Works just like the High Jump from any Castlevania game after SotN.
