Came across your video today. We moved to Portland over a year ago but have not seen much thanks to Covid. Will check out some of the places you went to. I realize you posted this a while back but good job with the video. Thanks for sharing.
i love your personality & editing style! im currently planning my first solo trip! at 30, but it’s never too late for self discovery lol. i plan on going to oregon! mostly the coast. you have a new sub here!
The videos clips that you have right after the Timberline Lodge, was that accessible near the Lodge or did you drive to another park of Mt. Hood first?
Yes! I used this website: forestparkconservancy.org/forest-park/maps/, but I also did some Googling too.. alltrails.com is usually great. But the park itself is really well marked, and it wasn't like a dead spot for my phone (hiking trails usually are), so I had good phone service. Granted, I didn't do as much of the strenuous hikes, but more of the common paths, and there were quite a few people out, so I didn't feel lost at any point! :)

I plan to take a week trip to Portland, OR just to get a change of scenery. Is Forest Park easy to navigate? My fear always is getting lost, haha.

is it more expensive to be at the hostel since you get the whole room to yourself?
nope! I actually didn't know I was getting the room to myself until after I got there - haha!
Is it best to rent a car or Uber and lyft.
