I agree!!!!!! I’m not saying the others do a bad job, of course not, they’re great!! The interactions between Craig and his Mom and Dad are natural. They can be themselves. And they are sooo funny!!!
I love how calm and patient Steve and Terry seem when it comes to their staff learning all the different jobs. It is just stress and worry when your boss, supervisor or even senior staff are demanding perfection instantly. Especially when over time you learn that your boss knows NOTHING about any of the software programs or physical details you are demanded to know. All along griping that the job can be done by fewer people and in less time. Wish they would accept that good quality work and a growing business DOES require more hands and more time.
100 years of setting the bar. Watching Max learn the trade was great. Steve and Terry were right there to teach and keep learning along the way. Now Cara is learning the biz. And check out Dylan another family friend. Terry's brother. Oh my gosh, tie it tight Karen!! Craigs story is AMAZING!! And now the wee baby sis is in the game. Right on little sis!!☺☺☺☺☺
Steve’s collection of hats is impressive when you see them all together. Thanks for getting in there early with your Dad, Craig. That was fun to see him quickly and efficiently take the enrober apart. I enjoyed the bunny repair by Terry, too.
The "I'm a man. I can change. If I have too. I guess." hat is from Canada. That quote is from the Red Green show produced by CBC. It was a pledge recited by members of a Lodge. Might have even been the beavers. Heartwarming to see our culture spread to our deserving neighbors.
I really appreciate the loud noise warning...I watch your videos with my toddler as he's winding down for bed and the heads up was helpful, luckily didn't scare the hell out of him
Great vidya, Craig. ❤❤❤ Good to see things I've not seen before. (And I've been a subscriber for years & years) 1) Steve opening shop.🌞 2) Enrober.. dis..robing & re..robing🐣 3) Bunnies being supported by a bunch of legumes.🥜 4) Bunny surgery.🐰 🍫 The amount of candy making knowledge, details & intricacies your parents have is mind-blowing.. amazing & admirable, to say the least. ❤ Hope you all have a great spring. 💐
Thanks for the "loud noise warning" Craig! I'm watching in bed at 1am (UK) with the sound down because I don't want to wake anyone, so this was very much appreciated! Love Steve's hats. The men can change hat was hilarious. Also, I have a candy suggestion. We have Chocolate Limes sweets that are lime flavour hard candy with a dark chocolate filling - and I was thinking the other day that combination might be good for ribbon candy, and you could probably make them vegan, depending on your line flavour ingredients ofc. Look up UK Chocolate Limes - they're considered retro sweets as they've been around for years, but are still loved by many 😀 If you haven't tried such a combination suck on a lime hard candy to get the lime flavour, then add a tiny button size piece of dark chocolate (not too much or it'll overpower the lime) to merge the flavours together. If Hercules customers love lime hard candy I'll bet they'll like this combination.
I’m so happy that Craig is back too. It feels right. I have been watching for so many years now, and there is nothing that can beat the natural, creative, engaging, happy, funny approach that Craig has. It’s just right, you know? ❤😊❤
I imagine you would have to charge quite a bit if someone stuck there head under the enrober. Between the cost of the chocolate that would have to be thrown out and the time it would take to fully clean everything. Plus, adding the production time waisted "the amount of products that would have been created in that time." I believe that it would cost someone well over one thousand dollars if they stuck their head under that chocolate stream.
My brother and I were excited to see Marvin the Martian make an appearance. I love the humor and all the conversation that goes on. Your mom was a hoot when she was fixing the bunnies especially when she put the head on backwards. I'm sure someone would buy it. Thanks for always sharing a fun vidya, Craig.
A lot of people when they get into business expansions for square footage and you try to change electrical plumbing and they find out how much money it's going to cost it just blows people away It's like the Cake Boss would they decided to expand the business and he finally found a 10,000 square-foot Warehouse type building it took them from the time they bought it till the time they went into production for the numbers that they wanted to start shipping out to various locations to expand the business it took about six months and Buddy spent probably twice the amount of money that he had originally budgeted
18:35 Maybe y'all have tried this, but putting something like a flat head screwdriver between those bunny mold halves then slowly twisting the screwdriver might make that job easier.
OMG I was watching this video and told my husband "She's fixing the broken rabbits." And he comes back with "Do they have hare lips?" LOL He's a punster and I love him to death!!!!
I have never seen your dad without a cap on! Very handsome 🥰wow he hasn’t seemed to age a bit, I remember when you were at your original location and when you all got your first enrober.
You'd THINK you want this job until you actually realize how incredibly physical candy making is. And you have to be absolutely precise too, or it doesn't turn out.
@Hercules Candy, @Terry, I'm a potter. Idea for you 🙂. When reattaching chocolate forms, like bunnies 🐇, with a sharp knife point, cross-hatch chocolate on both sides of break before applying chocolate glue. This will provide a more secure bond. 🤷🏼♀️ Sharing ideas. Love you all as we're all artist in similar ways.
Interesting video. Thanks for the content. Just a thought though, if y’all are going to allow facial hair shouldn’t they be required to wear a net on their beard?!?
Hey From Colorado Love your channel and how ya all get along. I have a question. Did you ever make butter rum hard candy or would you consider it. That is my favorite flavor. It reminds me of fishing with my Dad and my uncles. That was the flavor in there pockets. Thank you Lisa
Perhaps you could open another location or relocate to Walt Disney World or Celebration, Florida? The tourist would be interested to see candy being made and buying it. The weather would be much nicer than New York and it would increase your subscribers.
So you're an honorary member of the "possum lodge" from the Red Green Show "I'm a man, but I can change..." is their motto. Love from Edmonton, Alberta Canada
I wonder if you could put some sort of splitter on the enrober nozzle to make filling molds easier. So you'd only get part of the chocolate at once. And you might be able to fill two at once. IDK, it might work, well at least in theory.
Getting to this video late and I realized I am also wearing red shirt. What are the odds that I waould be wearing the same color shirt almost 2 weeks later? I believe the metal molds make it shinier because the pours of metals are smaller...? and I wonder if the difference in heat dissipation between metal and plastics, make a difference. In 1970s, I had a large solid bunny similar to what Momdre said. I love large solid chocolate bunnies. Great memories of those; keeping it in fridge or freezer and seeing how long it can last though eating a bit everyday. I wish for one in my future. I tried to find them for my kid but couldn't, even our local chocolate folks wouldn't do it, POSSIBLY because I also asked for it to be vegan and nut free. Perhaps I will find a nice mold and try one just for us.
Craig, I love when you are the videographer. It is so great seeing you interact with your mom and dad.
I agree!!!!!! I’m not saying the others do a bad job, of course not, they’re great!! The interactions between Craig and his Mom and Dad are natural. They can be themselves. And they are sooo funny!!!
I agree, also. And Craig seems to asks the right questions and knows when to be silent and let the video tell the story. :)

Love the opening edit!🔥
Is kinda nostalgic to have just Quick Steve and Craig opening together 🤗 funny is hereditary 😂

I always knew Steve was a man of many hats.
Glad to see the videos are back to the classic way you started filming them. This is why I fell in love with your candies and your family ❤

Fun to see Steve open the shop for the day
Craig, your videos are the best. Great family vibe.
I'm just a beginner at home candy making and I have learned soooo much from your videos, I love them all
Steve, not just a man of many expressions😚🤨😌☺️🙄… but a man who owns many hats! 🤣🧢
2:53 "Try all and error." The art of trying everything until nor more error.

Run Tyler, RUN! 😂😂😂😂😂
Just thank you for the loud noise warning
I still remember when a car plowed through the front where the vegan chocolate display is located.
Aside from the structural damage, no great loss......
Has anyone nibbled the idea of doing a reaction video to the classic Hallmark Movie called “ Easter Under Wraps”?
Watching from Canada 🇨🇦👍
I loved it, watched it from the start until the end

I think I accidentally called Tyler, Bryan! Sorry Tyler! 😊
*Sees the title and thumbnail" I once had to pay for something like that.
That one about having to is the pledge from the lodge on the Red Green Show from Canada...
Curious why the Mylar blankets on the enrober? Why not just a length of wide plastic food wrap?
Plastic melts?
You guys get your molds from Tomric in Buffalo don't you? I recognize those designs.

Yes the lifesaver butter rum are heavenly.
@@mariakoufalis1487 do you think you would be making butter rum candy in the future?
I always wondered what it was like to "break down" this machine for cleaning. So many moving parts and such. Always looked like a nightmare.
Keep up the awesome work 💪

i think my next job might just have to be at a candy / chocolate store
Seeing those chocolate bunnies at the beginning of this video makes me hungry!
220, 240, whatever it takes! 🤣🤣🤣
8:02 i died
The truth is that most people would run if you mention work
7:10 - when you’ve lost your car keys
I couldn’t work there I’m a self proclaimed chocoholic, I would end myself a classic death by chocolate 😊

So is there a video somewhere on your channel that shows the cleaning process. Cause dang that must suck😬

That would be hilarious if you put the bunnies head on backwards.
Have u guys tried using any sort of spray for the molds not to stick as much?

They make nozzle plates for them, but they do cost a bit.
