For the record, a largely unspoken rule is that coming back from death only prevents a loss if it’s fast enough. If Doomsday died, he would’ve lost since he doesn’t always come back right away.
Btw, if you liked the music from the first part of the fight, it’s actually The Hot Wind Blowing, a boss theme from the DLC of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Would highly recommend checking that out if you haven’t heard of it, because it’s got one of the best soundtracks in video game history IMO.
Some old deathbattles still hold nowadays. Good music, decent animation with a brutal ending and, at the time, good research. Sure it isn't as accurate now because both characters got more tricks now but it's an old video so we can't judge it with current info.
As for Doomsday? You can kill him with the same method but it'll take a lot more force and Superman didn't had that at the time of the rematch, but them he'll comeback and we are back at step one. He was stronger but not enough so it made killing Doomsday impossible and the only way to beat him was to seal him in the phantom from where he couldn't escape until someone actually takes him out of there. The dude is a menace all around.
Personally I recommend Black Adam vs Apocalypse, is quite similar to this one in a way and it has another brutal ending.
At the time this video was made hulk hadn't been canonically established as immortal yet that Revelation came later... A lot of people have pointed out that it happened shortly after this death battle was made, as if marvel saw this death battle and decided to give hulk a buff to try to one up DC.
I don't know the details of how hulk became immortal but i do know that the "savage hulk" personality that is the hulk personality most people are familiar with is entirely separate from the "immortal hulk" personality. I also know that when hulk switches personalities his abilities can change... Hulk even has a personality called "joe fix it" that has dark grey skin instead of green and maintains Bruce banner's intellect.
It's quite possible that the immortality might be tied to the immortal hulk personality and the Savage hulk personality might have zero access to it...

Oh yeah, fun fact, this was before Hulk got the ability to regenerate, but I'm not sure if the outcome changes or not now.
Doomsday has a better regnation powers..and he can adapt his opponets powers..the fight with Doomsday is so risky unless you kill him in the first few minutes during the fight..hulk have more forms than doomsday ..but a regular or an equal version of hulk will lose against reuglar version or a an equal of Doomsday sadly

Hulk VS Doomsday is one of those 3D classics from back in the day, much like Solid Snake VS Sam Fisher. Tho obviously being an older episode the analysis is pretty dated in some areas (which they do acknowledge in later episodes, if you notice how here they say Hulk rarely fights light-speed fast opponents while in Hulk VS Broly they mention Hulk fighting light-speed fast and above people regularly, amongst other things of course).
Their research does get better overtime, but i will say at the time this episode was released it DID have the right verdict with Doomsday winning, the dude just can’t die, at least not by any method Hulk can reasonably pull of on his own. Tho naturally being comics Hulk has gotten new stuff since then like his newfound immortality, so if Hulk & Doomsday were to fight again it might be much closer than last time. But yeah if anything this helps show how far Death Battle has come when it comes to how they tackle their characters analysis, one would naturally want to work out the kinks as you go lol

But at the same time current Doomsday is also much stronger and way more bs compared to this DB Doomsday. I mean he can come back from memories and the idea of him. What's even more messed up is current Doomsday is finding new and creative ways to die. Like what character would go out of they're way to find ways to die?

Don't worry. Hulk should be coming back between now and the next couple of seasons. But he'd more likely be fighting Godzilla. That match up showed up in the db's tournament of champions, they did a podcast about it and just casually bring that up in other stuff so there's a good chance of that happening and to my knowledge Hulk would more likely win but there's been some arguments that Godzilla might win due to his own comic book showings so we'll have to see.

Hulk heals fast but so does Doomsday. Doomsday also physically changes & adapts as he heals so that it's virtually impossible to defeat him the same way twice. We could see this happening when Hulk used his sonic thunderclap...At first Doomsday was staggered but within a matter of seconds he rallied himself & started fighting back again. Yes, that also means Hulk's Thunderclap would no longer have any effect on Doomsday, ever again.
Yes, the madder Hulk gets the stronger he gets but with Doomsday's adaptation ability, the same can also be said of Doomsday...He will continue to get stronger as he needs to. However, in Marvel canon, Hulk has survived multiple amputations, including decapitation...He couldn't regenerate back into one piece because someone managed to put his separate pieces in different containers, but Hulk's head was still conscious & capable of speech. This means that Hulk's defeat here was till only temporary, until such time as someone touches his severed neck back together, then he could eventually work out those bone shards Doomsday left in him & regenerate those wounds as well. But for all intents & purposes, Hulk still lost this fight.

Doomsday is practically invincible... And in recent comics he became King of Hell Doomsday... Think of him as a Superman without morals always bloodlusted and keeps coming from death- a complete nightmare. Superman defeated him once by ripping him in two halves yet he he still regenerated from that a good while later which is absurd. While Superman represents Hope and Heroism Doomsday is the complete opposite; he is Despair and Doom. They're the most fearsome Kryptonians in DC universe. Since Doomsday is a hybrid he still counts as a Kryptonian. But with his goon hood rat shi always bodying people and destroying everything in his path he is a Criptonian 😆
