I had Psycho. I actually still remember the day I got him. March 17, 1986. I only remember that because it was the same day my school bus got into an accident and I was worried I wouldn't be able to go to the store after school to get him. 7 year old priorities, LOL. Never knew the toy was based on a manga/anime vehicle though.
I had Psycho. Brings back a lot of memories just looking at him. He and Stacks were the only super Go Bots I had - though I had tons of regular go bots, along with Transformers.
I still have my childhood Herr Fiend. Nice to see yours still has the hatch back, unlike mine. That's often missing. I always liked how his legs made him look like he was wearing baggy shorts, which back in the day we called Jams.
Way back in 1983, my parents bought me the silver Porsche Herr Fiend. I loved that toy and it was sturdy and strong. I don't know what happened to it. I am assuming my parents threw it away secretly when they thought I was too old to play with toys.
That Bug Bite here has seen better days.My brother had Herr Fiend.I had Destroyer and still have Pyscho and the black pincers are long gone now.I bought Zeemon off Ebay awhile back. These Super Gobots take me back to the 80's.
I just got Psycho in a batch of stuff. Never had him as a kid, but always played with the one my friend had. I always played with it as a spaceship instead of a car.
I had psycho as a very young child . I was born in 82 , and remember getting him when I was about 6 or so with optimus prime, cyclonus,Rachet and hotrod. Crazy what we remember. Thank for the memory flashback.
Nice review. Originally, transformers called diaclone were actually not sentient robots either. They suppose to piloted by people. The original diaclone line in Japan included a small figure to put into the cabs of each robot. If you ever collected autobots, dinobots, insecticons seekers and so forth, they all little cabins to put the small people in.
Oh man! I had Psycho, the Future Machine one, though at the time I don't think I knew the character name - I didn't have nearly as many GoBots as I did Transformers, but I remember all of'em.
My mom just found me a super damn great condition Bug Bite in Texas, which will be in my collection when she arrives on Sunday. And oddly enough the guy selling it also listed it as Bumblebee.
I just bought a Herr Fiend who's in very good with his iconic 32 numbering as well. I remember Psycho as well and at some point I probably borrowed him from school sometime in the 80's. Psycho seems the prominent that everyone remembers while other 2 (and 2 more not reviewed) are a little more rare. Herr Fiend does it for me any because I'm a big fan of the Porsche 928(s) car model just like Stunticon Dead End whom I also really liked from the TF line as well.
Wow now that I remember I did have psycho as a kid along with The Puzzler car conbiner. Back then I thought it was some knock off of Transformers. But they were go bots. Cheaper price wise of course
I once play with one go-bot very similar to the black one. His head was sliding forward at the end. I'm surprise that the black one you have is not doing this.
GoBots often catch a bad rap because people compare them to the wrong Transformers. No, your standard GoBots don't compare well to the basic Autobot cars and Decepticon seeker jets. But they do compare well to the Autobot Mini-Vehicles that are roughly the same size. And Super GoBots compare well to the Autobot cars and Decepticon jets.
When I was a kid they weren't too bad, but as an adult GoBots really did fail compare to Transformers. The Bug Bite model looks like it's got a fair call of detail in a similar fashion to Optimus, but the other two def. not as much. Good work on the review. Good amount of detail on each item.
I JUST FOUND BUG BITE AT A LAWN SALE. the women said it was bumblebee i was like nope its a gobot lol. it still has the stickers on it and the paint is still good. 👍😀
Nice review. I don't recall if you mentioned it, but Herr Fiend was called Dr. Go in the Challenge of the GoBots TV series. I added a link to your review on the Dr. Go wiki page. en.wikialpha.org/wiki/Dr._Go
I always hated it when the robot modes looked stupid. Transformers were hit or miss, but it seemed like GoBots tended to have weaker robot designs. I had the black car, and hated it. Skinny chicken legs, flabby saddle bag thighs, and a head that was cocked backward which would have given it a double chin if it had flesh. Bleh. Also stupid name. Sorry for the negativity, I just really, really hated GoBots as a kid!!

Fantastic video! I do miss the Gobots! It would be great to bring them back.👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎

Find psycho at a secondhand store in late 80s, it went nicely next to my Rodimus toy when both were in vehicle mode. That futuristic look they had.
Thank you for uploading I had Baron von Joy. I remembered Bug Bite but never got it.

These would make a great remake!

We had these exact three..l had Bugbite and my brothers had the other two..l wish l had them all again.
Great review for great figures.

I just made a Stop Motion video with my Puzzler 🎬📸🎞️
I had Herr Fiend!

Mighty Robots, Mighty Vehicles! Go Bots! :D
Bugbite will be the first gobot to ever appear in a Transformers cartoon with Earthrise
Bug Bite looks a better VW and easier to transform than Bumblebee even in a worn out look.
How can I get the classic original Bug Bite I want that one where do I find one !!!
Did they have a race set where Turbo and Crasher race each other?
I always though my bug bite was broken until I realized the hands fold out
Bug Bite is Bumblebee's Cousin
Actually, according to the comic series that came out in '19, Bugbite is Bumblebees father.
@@miggypeso909 what comic is this?

I remember my Herr Fiend was fully red. Was it a recolored or it was another Super Go-Bot?
@@jeremygray462 Holy Cow you're awesome !!!

I thought Herr Fiends head slid forward when transformed?
Bill Blair Totally does. I was just gonna comment the same thing. :P

That's what happened when I bought mine, the guy thought it was bumblebee!
Is this worth any money? Found one with a box. Cool toy!
Cool review thanks AAA+++++
Psycho was very badass. I loved his sleek look and they kept his original name of "Future Machine" on his stickers.
I had bug bite in 86 I destroyed it, I wonder how much is it worth

Thanks!
John Cena is HYUUUUUGGE 😱
The 17time WWE WORLD CHAMPION JJjjjjooooohhhhhhnnnn
CE-NA
As a kid... I thought these were the WORST ones. They looked like a car folded in hald, with teeny twig arms and legs. I honestly hated them.
They copied bumblebee
