After listening to the first quartet, I am now listening to the second. Delightful works, both of them.
Schulhoff must have really been proud of his first quartet!
Very enjoyable. Superb musicianship. Excellent dynamics. Applause! Debb Saxx/ Florida
This is a really interesting quartet! Thank you for putting this on UA-cam *****
This and his 5 pieces for quartet have amazing build ups and harmonization. Super unique and cool, can't find anything similar to it.
thank you!!!
quartetto molto bello, sopratutto l'ultimo movimento
Impossibile che conoscesse Shostakovich, che aveva 19 anni e stava lavorando alla sua prima sinfonia.
Translation: "He could not have known Shostakovich because Shostakovich was only 19 and working on his first symphony."
Wow....
great
The Third movement sounds a little like Bartok.
SuonoReale I would say more ravel
NICE
Yep
"It sounds like someone else" Please, stop. It is tiring to read this kind of comment everywhere. Stop trying to find resemblances with some composer. It's always gonna remember some composer, we have already understood this..
Bracing.
