Hes a great rider, alot of butt-hurt ppl commenting about how its dad pocket paying, the kid wins, and wins alot, you can't buy talent and yiu certainly can't buy podiums, just accept that his dad has paved they way as any father in his position would do. Dont hate, Brian came from nothing and knows the values of being humble.

A lot of people seem to think hes just racing against mom and pop out of the back of their pickup truck when he's actually going against full factory support teams from kawi and Honda. They all have money and private tracks at the top of the sport.

No he's just had a full funded program since he could ride a bike, has time to practice nearly every day and if the bike blows up then here comes day to the rescue. Its not that he is paying for the win but he has opportunities that most average kids don't have because his family has money. Most families struggle with the expenses and can't keep racing or even start racing because of that. I have a buddy who is wicked fast and was riding a big bore kx250 when he was 15 and he hasn't raced at all and never practices. Imagine if my buddy had all that money behind him and the sponsers of his fathers previous careers. Brian paved the way and is doing what any parent would do for their kid if they had money. All I'm saying is average kids can't do this so its essier for him to be successful when he doesn't have to worry about where moneys coming from or if he'll get sponsers...

There's more to racing than going fast. Ask Jlaw, or Brian Deegan for that matter. But I don't think Mr. Deegan will let his kids loose sight of everything else it takes to be a challenger for championships.

    • @abracing199
      @abracing199 4 роки тому +3

@@zealobiron are you really using jlaw as an example of success? Hes burned out after wasting his talent and stuck working a day job. He's the perfect example of what not to do. Deegan was smart enough to pivot to the up and coming freestyle at the time and got his foot in the door and used his talent there to great success because he wasn't much of a racer. Deegan sucess was in marketing more than anything with his "rivalry" good vs bad thing with Travis for all of those years.

Have you tried reaching out to them? The Deegans have a marketable product that sponsors can get behind. They will make money off the name "Deegan" regardless of how well Haiden performs. Not saying your children don't deserve support, I'm sure they do. It just is not as simple as that when it comes to the way sponsors run their businesses.
If your kids keep pushing and improving, and start beating the factory kids, start winning regionals, getting podiums at Lorettas, they will get the attention they need. Haiden wins almost everything he enters, and he has the name behind the talent. He has earned a lot of this himself by putting in a ton of work, it is a little bit of a slight to him to say he only gets attention because he is on the west coast.
But I will say, to get sponsors, you are going to have to go out and find them, they're not going to come to you until your kids start winning everything they enter. It is sadly the nature of the beast.
Good luck to them, I hope to see them succeed.

For all of the Haiden Deegan haters and naysayers that say isht like "he only wins because his dad is rich and famous and buys him the best of everything" or "only reason he got a ride with KTM is because his dad is Brian Deegan" and lastly the ever popular "just because he is winning and a champion as a kid doesn't mean he will do good as a pro or count for anything". Listen up and mark my words haters. That kid is gonna be a champion and he's gonna dominate. And while he is winning Y'all will still be coming up with excuses as to why he's the dominating champion and you are not. Mark my words. Kids gonna go down in history with Stanton, Ward, Johnson, McGrath, Hannah, Carmichael, Stewart etc etc etc. Mark my words haters.

Ok I’m a fan of the kid but did you say they’re not letting him ride the brake. That’s the best thing you can do to control the spinning. I race flat track so you can’t tell me riding the brake does nothing. That’s so stupid

Can’t believe people would try to say his dad buys his wins. That just people who can’t put the hard work in so they have to say he buys the wins. Anyone win any kind of sense knows that’s impossible and you can see how this kid works his ass off to be good every race every kid is after him trying to beat him he’s there trophy. So you want to win like him put the work in boys that’s the only way you can do it.

Kid is super smooth on corners. Already has full works equipment. LikeLy could qualify for Pro National with that bike.

I had a 250 at 14 (1982 Husky), and at that age my dad was cutting rotary valve disks to hop up his 350 Kawasaki.
That said, his 350, my 250, your 125 and this kid's psycho supermini all probably have about the same horsepower! Lol

AP HILL don’t hate him because he grew up with money and was able to get everything he needed to race, all the money in the world doesn’t make talent, the kid is a stud.

Well this was disappointing ... Was hoping MXA would dive into the details of this build. So it's stroked, ported, and has a custom pipe, A-kit suspension, and an oversized rear brake ... care to elaborate on any of the specifics pertaining to any of those things? Haiden isn't racing the supermini class right now, and his bike setup is likely to change by the time he's in that class anyway, so why so secretive? Rider ability matters more than what's been done to the bike. It's ridiculous how everyone is so protective of information these days.

    Big Question Moving to Tuesdays!
Hey subscribers! Our next episode of Big Question will upload this Tuesday, November 3, as a special Election Day episode. And from there forward, episodes of BQ will come out every Tuesday. When we originally launched the format, we intended it to be a weekday release, and we’re thrilled to be able to arrange our production schedule to finally make that happen. This move won’t cause any delay in our coverage of major breaking nerdy news as it comes out, and hopefully free up our weekends to cover streaming release series like The Mandalorian and WandaVision as they come out. Thanks, and mark your calendars for Tuesday’s Big Question episode - it’s one of our favorites that we’ve made!

We have many super minis in our barn. With the KTM 105 SXS KIT we have found the optimum stroke increase is 109cc beyond that the engine begins to be less responsive (rev slower).
