I really liked the way Collin talked from the first time. I have the feeling that Collin is very sociable and easy to approach when interacting with local people. As a Vietnamese, I really appreciate Collin's sincere words: "As Americans, why don't you try teaching English in Vietnam, giving Vietnamese children the opportunity to use English to develop their knowledge and skills"

I would be about 51 or 52, as a male, by the time I got my TEFL. I wonder if my age would substantially reduce the likelihood of landing a teaching job?
Why half of the teachers who graduated TEFL no longer work and decided to leave? Is the pay really bad since he mentioned he works at 2 different schools
There are various personal reasons for why people decide to stay or leave. Some stay for a one year contract, then move on to other things. It's not because the pay is bad that people sometimes work at multiple schools, it's a matter of scheduling (when and where classes are available). You can often get enough hours to live comfortably from one school though, so it's not always necessary. You can watch our video on salaries in Vietnam for more info.
Because it’s a shit show the teaching the country the people, why do u think nearly all of the foreigners that do stay long term live in Expat area, hardly have any Vietnamese friends and don’t speak the language? That should answer your question….
Is it okay to opt out of licensure while pursuing the Bachelor's Degree? I'm pretty sure the answer is yes because we will complete the TEFL in Vietnam. Just wanting to make sure.
We’re always welcome foreigners coming here. Our only concern is they will drive up inflation. And Please, don’t bring the crazy American tipping culture here.
When you leave VN and come back to your country. You will have with you: 2 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of underwear, 1 pairs of shoes, $600 dollars. What a bright future ahead. Should considering VN is your home. When getting old will see
Is there anyway you can teach without a bachelors or is it a 100% requirement no work around? Asking because getting one in America is a looooot of money 🥲
Just because you speak English does not mean you can teach it. Majority of Brits don't know the difference between verbs and adverbs, adjectives, conjunctions, pronouns, etc.

I love you guys let's party tomorrow
Is it true that there are a lot of scammers in vietnam? Do you have any experience getting scammed?
How can you get scammed if ask for the price first. Just use common sense and do your homework well if you intend to visit.

It can limit your options but definitely isn’t a necessity
Can you go to jail for not having the bachelor?

@@itskrush94 yeeeeep if only I wasn’t in the us and anywhere else getting a bachelors wouldn’t cost me a fortune….
