'Now And Then' is the last Beatles song - written and sung by John Lennon, developed and worked on by Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, and now finally finished by Paul and Ringo over four decades later.
On 2nd November, 'Now And Then' will be released worldwide at 2pm GMT/10am EDT / 7am PDT.
Pre-order/pre-save 'Now And Then' in a variety of digital, vinyl, and cassette editions, including Beatles Store exclusives.
A 12-minute documentary film will debut on 1st November on The Beatles’ UA-cam channel
at 7:30pm GMT / 3:30pm EDT / 12:30pm PDT
telling the story behind the last Beatles song, with exclusive footage and commentary from John, Paul, Ringo, George, Sean Ono Lennon and Peter Jackson.

I was 16 and watched the lads in the lunchtime sessions in the Cavern when it was John, Paul, George and Pete.....and I loved them. They had an aura that's never been seen before. Then the day Ringo played for the first time, the golden circle was complete. Now, 61 years later I love them more today than I did before.
My family have preordered all formats for my 77th birthday on 6th November. I'm so looking forward to getting these now ❤

I was a journalist in 1962 and a frequent Cavern (the original one!) devotee. That was the first time I heard the deafening screams that following the Beatles forced you to suffer ... I'm 78 now and still a fan.
Wow! What a time to be alive! Im 36 and i would give anything to have been able to experience the 60’s back then with the Beatles. It must’ve been so much fun.
'Imagine' if you had interviewed them after a gig there - that story would have been pretty valuable over the years!
And that beautiful tape had the words "For Paul" written by John. 💘

@@JesusVazquez-jz2qm 😂 I would always check that out from my library (CDs and video) and watched/listened to them over and over!! Then the big anthology book came out later (I think?) I remember how important that was to me! I got it for a bday and still cherish it! I had a crush on Paul and I made one of my bedroom walls a collage of different pictures of them (but mostly Paul 😂). Then in 7th grade, I got to see Paul in concert, it was such an amazing experience!!! Greetings! 😁

This has always been my favourite Beatles song that never was, and I was so saddened that it never got to see the light of day... Until now... This is huge!!
I think we can "thank" George for that (not revording and releasing the song). The acrimony never left George, sadly.

THE BEATLES LIVES ON FOREVER!
My dad was a massive fan, he had pretty every beatles song or recording in his record collection and a great chunk of John's work. The first song i remember listening to is "I saw her standing there", i spent most of my teenage years listening to their records and later their solo albums, i even expanded my dads collection with more of John's records hahah. Now im almost done with university, i cant listen to Beatles songs out of the blue anymore. They mean so much to me, that the vibe has to be just right, they truly feel like a meditation sometimes, few other bands i listen to have achieved that with me. Now this is coming out, all things must pass away (yes that's a George reference, one of my favorites too actually) and this may be the greatest of them all for the fab four. @@JesusVazquez-jz2qm When The Beatles worked on it briefly in 1995 (around the same time as 'Free As A Bird' and 'Real Love') , George recorded a guitar track for it and he and Paul recorded some backing vocals together. That portion from the '95 sessions was used on this. John's 70s home demo cassette with John's lead chorus vocal and piano, Geoge's 1995 guitar and backing vocal, and everything else from Paul and Ringo (and a string arrangement from Giles Martin, George Martin's son) was completed in 2022 and 2023. It is said to be the final "new" song that will ever be released with all four Beatles on it.
I've been waiting for this song since 2008, and now I can finally hear it. I'm literally in tears!

I think I speak for everyone WHO LOVES and has been touched by the Beatles, when I say this is a great moment in music history. "Now and Then" is the perfect last Beatles song.
Weird, because, this song has been waiting through out the decades to for it's moment.
What "Now and again" proves is that love can't be contained by time itself.
It has FINALLY come full circle. Bringing 4 friends back together. It's the start but also the end. And, everything in between.
Once it was the wandering message from John to Paul. Now, it's a message we all can share in.

I became a fan after hearing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band on the local AM radio station when I turned 12 on July 4, 1974. Some of their songs are still my favorites 49 years later.

I was not quite 5 yrs old when they first appeared on Ed Sullivan so don't remember seeing them when the show aired live on Feb. 9, 1964. But I was a Beatles fan for life starting the very next day when my dad brought home the Meet The Beatles album (I still have it). I haven't been so excited about a new song release since I anxiously awaited to hear John's "(Just Like) Starting Over" on the radio for the first time in 1980. I thought we'd never hear another "new" song with all four Beatles. I'm so happy to see comments from younger generations of Beatles fans here. Thanks to you, the Beatles will live forever!!
