Nice one. Didn’t think there would be much difference. Which one felt better at top speed? If I was to guess, just based on the footage, it would be the Kawasaki. Keep up the great work. 👍😎🇦🇺
@@mototop_ OK. I’ll rephrase the question. If these were to only two bikes available, which one would you pick and why? I’ve ridden both and would actually take the Suzuki “Monster” and add a quality exhaust can to it purely based on the difference in sound.
Though I tend to prefer Kawasaki in Japanese bikes, I'd take the Cb650 if money isn't an issue due to it being an I4 with more power than the others and sweet looks. But there also the Triumph Trident and Aprilia Tuono 660 if we can bump the budget to include the Cb650.

@@mototop_ I've owned MANY very quick and fast bikes since 1977 when the Kawasaki KZ 1000 was top dog. I must admit however, small bikes with good power to weight ratios and light weight can be a whole lot of fun! fast then a fast bike slow. That little 500Ninja I owned was so light and quick ( both in handling and acceleration),I sometimes found myself wanting to ride it instead of my 150 mph+ sport bike. It falls in the catagory of sometimes it's more fun to ride a slow bike.
Geez, I really need to proof read my comments better! It should have read..."sometimes it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow". Winding out that little 500 Ninja to the max even though slow compared to my Alpha bike, was more fun on twisty back roads.

Hard to say, haven't tested the Honda and Yamaha yet
which one do you prefer?
that's hard....but the Suzuki has the better performance ;)
@@mototop_ which part of the performance? Handling, engine engagement, sound, and overall feel on the bike?
@@aznpetyaw mainly the engine performance
which one was more a joy to ride for you?
uff, that's not easy. But I would say the SV650
@@mototop_ how so? I was thinking of getting the Z650.

Probably have more luck renting one and testing yourself. It won't be easy to get a loaner Indian for such a video in Germany.
If you have one for me for testing.... ;)

Not much to get excited about with either bike, especially the Kawasaki. My 1993 ( US spec) 500 Ninja with 60 horsepower was capable of 118 mph too.
