I honestly wouldn't mind seeing the full 2 hours or however long it actually was. I loved every second of this and I wish we could get more
Props to Lewis for his pattern recognition in the escape challenge. Don’t know how long they would have been there if he hadn’t figured out how most of the puzzles were color-coordinated.

I'm sure they cut out a lot of the running around aimlessly but from how it's edited they are surprisingly good at the escape room one

It is nice seeing the classic duo Simon and Lewis in adventure maps again.
That Acacia question death room should have had the music from the final test chamber in the original Portal. Where there will be cake, and you will be baked.
I LOVE mix of Simon and Lewis, I can't tell if they're just tired of eachother after 16 years so don't want to make that much content together anymore, but their chemistry is still one of the funniest (and most weirdly comforting) things, makes me feel like a kid again 🥹

You gotta love that no matter how long they have played Minecraft Adventures for they never seem to remember that in Adventure Mode you can only break block types with the right tool. (Ex. Wood needs an Axe, Stone a pickaxe, etc.)
This isn't even true though. Tools can't break anything unless the map maker specifically adds nbt to the tool to break particular blocks. If you see when Simon hovers over the pickaxe, it says at the bottom:

So glad to watch Simon and Lewis doing these adventure maps. Really takes me back. You guys are THE REASON I dropped out of art skool in 2013. Among other things.

Yeah the Minecraft paintings are actually real oil paintings by Kristoffer Zetterstrand! He uses a 3D environment for the perspectives and even some of them are out of bounds Counter Strike maps! Hence the "Bomb" name in the quiz!
i'm impressed the map maker made the escape puzzle interesting whilst also being easy enough for even the yogscast to solve, nice balance
These videos are actually making me feel like a kid again, I grew up during the Bluexephos days

Confirmed: Lewis is the kind of person who'd rather take an awkward dodgy photo of a monitor rather than use the screenshot function that's built into every computer.
i don't know if they have second monitors when they play stuff, if not, it would have been pointless to take a screenshot
