Props to Lewis for his pattern recognition in the escape challenge. Don’t know how long they would have been there if he hadn’t figured out how most of the puzzles were color-coordinated.
5:05 immediately recognized the tone Lewis was using for the tetris pieces, the old collegehumor tetris god skit was so funny. gonna have to watch it again after this video, thanks for the reminder Lewis :)
@@Bellabeth There's always the classic "listening to all the YogPods again for the -12th- 13th now time" hahahahaha Fuck, jokes aside, saying that really does make me wanna go back and listen to them...
Honestly, some of those punishments/deaths/Saw traps in that trivia were creative enough that I kinda wanted someone to get the answer wrong every time, just to see them.
I LOVE mix of Simon and Lewis, I can't tell if they're just tired of eachother after 16 years so don't want to make that much content together anymore, but their chemistry is still one of the funniest (and most weirdly comforting) things, makes me feel like a kid again 🥹
I know it's an old comment but as I understand it, as Simon has gotten older he mostly just wants to take it easy now. This started way back in 2015. If you look at his content, he mostly just streams single player Minecraft. Lewis on the other hand, still organises and makes a variety of novel content, which seems to require much more focus, planning and attention. I'm guessing it's just a difference in what they want to do. Lewis continued to lead the Yogscast while Simon chose to take more of a back seat. They still do make content from time to time.
So glad to watch Simon and Lewis doing these adventure maps. Really takes me back. You guys are THE REASON I dropped out of art skool in 2013. Among other things.
You gotta love that no matter how long they have played Minecraft Adventures for they never seem to remember that in Adventure Mode you can only break block types with the right tool. (Ex. Wood needs an Axe, Stone a pickaxe, etc.)
This isn't even true though. Tools can't break anything unless the map maker specifically adds nbt to the tool to break particular blocks. If you see when Simon hovers over the pickaxe, it says at the bottom: Can Break: Block of Lapis Lazuli
That Acacia question death room should have had the music from the final test chamber in the original Portal. Where there will be cake, and you will be baked.
Yeah the Minecraft paintings are actually real oil paintings by Kristoffer Zetterstrand! He uses a 3D environment for the perspectives and even some of them are out of bounds Counter Strike maps! Hence the "Bomb" name in the quiz!
15:58 I know it's a minor thing in the grand scheme of things, but every time the Yogs have to brew potions I get pissed because it's not as complicated as it seems and they've had the same song and dance for an entire decade, so here's a quick guide. For every single potion (sans 1 weird one) Step 1 is to add Nether Wart to get an Awkward Potion. Step 2 is to add your primary ingredient. And for like 90% of the potions you're actually going to brew that's all that needs to be done. It's really not that complicated. Where things start getting a little more complicated is "corrupting" and adding modifiers, which you'd basically only ever do in PvP or if you really suck at fighting. To do those: Step 3 is to add a Fermented Spiders Eye to corrupt a potions effect. For example it turns a Healing Potion into Harming, a Swiftness Potion into Slowness, ect. Step 4 is to modify the strength of your potion. Redstone makes it last longer (ex. 2:00 to 5:00), Glowstone makes them more potent (ex Strength 1 to Strength 2) Step 5 is to make them throwable. Add Gunpowder to a regular potion to make it Splash, add Dragons Breath to Splash to make it Lingering. TLDR: When brewing potions always add Netherwart first, it's like always the first step and anything after that is pretty simple.
Confirmed: Lewis is the kind of person who'd rather take an awkward dodgy photo of a monitor rather than use the screenshot function that's built into every computer.
@@gameclips5734I mean they almost certainly do as they are all content creators. But even if they didn't it's a very easy pattern, should literally only have to alt tab to it once or twice

The spiderweb punishment has to be the most trolly thing they could've thought of. I also see simon has the same problem of coming up with replacement for someone took your name and you have to add things like uk to your name.

The funny thing is that the editing is so well done that it seemed like you all had fun and cleared it in no time at all. Well done :'D
