Kathmandu, Nepal. One of the few known and accessible today recordings of the voice of Shivapuri Baba. Made by J. Bennet between April 1 and 2, 1962, 9 months before the Master left his body. The interview was also attended by: Marjorie von Harten, Melissa Marston (England).

@@SwDhyanPrabhat Yes absolutely God is great and India is and always has been a spiritual home the essences and morality of the people is a great example to the rest of the world. We in the West are driven mostly by matetiality, greed and self gratification. So sad for our beautiful planet and also the salvation and hooe of our inner development that is sadly far removed from any inner knowledge or peace. Bless you Sw. Dhyan for your kind reply. jennie Devereaux better to use Indian continent or aryan civilisation instead of a particular country if you would like to talk about spiritual home. As India is not only the place for the spiritual conquest. Buddha was born in Nepal and most of the important moments of Shivapuri Baba happened in Kathmandu, Nepal except two major things- birth and god realisation that happened in India. Baba stayed in Nepal after his world travel as he felt Kathmandu the best place and his all formal preachings happened there, and samadhi as well. Obviously India has more enlightened people being bigger in size and population, but if we are a spiritual seeker , we should see in a holistic way without excluding the significance of others .

jennie Devereaux Moreover, we can not underestimate the spiritual intensity of Tibet from where Dalai Lama came from . There are other places to name such as Burma, Srilanka.
