Bcoz there is no concrete treatment for HMPV infection. It’s just symptomatic treatment means take medicines based on symptoms only. For example if you got fever then take Paracetamol, if you cough then take cough syrup, if runny nose or stuffed nose then take Decongestant.
Particularly for parents who have infants or toddlers, buy a Nebulizer. Nebulizer needed for infants, toddlers even kids who can’t spit out so mucus from throat can be easily taken out.
Btw I’m MBBS in Indonesia. Allah ka shukr hai we are safe here from HMPV but we learning from news on China.
