There was one indie developer I saw working on that kind of tech in Source, but it's super resource hungry. The only working prototype is on Garry's mod, unreleased.
@@vaill.7807 I mean thats what also game called "Space Engineer's" devs tried. At the end failed/aborted. Due Its super Resource hungry as you said. I really dont think there is a way to optimize it without costing alot of power. But In future tech I dont think Its completely scrapped... They're cooking up VRAGE 3.0 Which is ... Maybe in VRAGE 3 we could see Water Physics with Super PC's right?
@@ducky_y_ Nah Its still a Probably Basic Water Physics. Just like Kerbal Space Program, But you can dig type of thing. Becouse again... Water physics are pain in ass to actually get it work. And EXTREMELY PC Killer... Like you can kill servers with this if you think a bit... Im sure they still go with Ice or Basic water (Water will be flying... Not Interacting with world Due performance issues)
We need barsuk 2 but it has everything that winterhalter has and crammed into the smaller hull of og barsuk also i think one man hardcore mode would be great
