Classroom Setup Day 5! NEW Bulletin Board and Library Organization!

In todays video we are setting up the classroom for day 5! I got my library organization finally completed and got my class jobs put up. I also managed to make a makeshift bulletin board for my writing center. I love how it turned out, and cannot wait for you to see my room continue to progress. Everything looks wonderful. Just a thought I had for the library…maybe have the crates with smaller (lighter) books on the top shelves and the bigger (heavier) one on the lower shelf so the students may only slide them out to the floor instead of having to hieve them down. May help with longevity of the boxes?

I tried my best to organize it that way but the heights of the books at time put me in a pickle! We just had open house and some of my kiddos ended up loving the library!

I leave my jobs for a month. It lets kids settle into them. It also helps me when my mind gets busy and I forget to change them more frequently, so I change them with my calendar.

I’m probably going to do the same thing! We already have so much on our plates and I don’t want the jobs to be one more thing!
