I drove a school bus for 7 years and I gave things to my kids every holiday too. I also decorated the inside of my bus for every season as well. If it paid more, I would probably still be doing it. 🇨🇦❤

As it is, I have the opportunity to speak with, hug, encourage and get to know personally each and every child. It is wonderful!

Once she was told she had to let me on, she dropped me off at the end of the road so that I had to walk a good distance to my house, in the heat. It wasn't just me though, she was hateful to everyone. I know kid's can be loud and annoying, but bus driving was definitely not her calling. Eventually she retired, and our new driver, Mr. Johnny, was the sweetest man. During the hotter months, he would have a cooler beside his seat and would hand us a cold drink or a popsicle. During the cooler months, he would have snacks such as nutty buddies. And the few times a week I had my instrument..... He would drive me up to my driveway. So thank you for being an awesome bus driver. The kid's will always remember you!

Nicole, I feel you. It was just a tiny whisper community all those years ago, and now it's got to be thousands strong. I do miss the simplistic whisper videos where people just rambled about their lives. Most of them are gone now, but what a legacy they gave us.

I think I'm the only one here bothered by you touching this candy with your bare hands 🤣🤣. I'm sure kids put gross things in their mouths but the hands in the candy has my germophobe side screaming 🤣😩
I am sure you’re not the only one. But I do hope you know I wash my hands. The kids on the bus do their share of spreading their germs to me, however. They are all generously sharing with me their colds and viruses. Fortunately, right now we are not with each other as school is out till next year. Also, I have stopped giving out candy to the kids on the bus.
