Alma Mater, Letran esplendente !

My happiest days was when i was studying at Letran, Arriba Letran!

I wonder kung paano 'to kahirap sa mga first year kabisaduhin. 😂
Kidding aside, pinakamagandang hymn na 'to, at least for me. Dude, hymn in Spanish?? Amazing!
And ito lang ba ang University hymn sa Pilipinas na nasa Spanish?
@Rommel Salamanca Well said Sir...heheh..mga bata pa lang tayo pinapakabisado na sa atin ang mga kanta ng Letran. Pero ito ang kantang sinubukan nilang pakanta sa Filipino at English pero ayaw ng mga students and alumni kaya siguro nanatiling in Spanish. I still feel happy and privileged to be the "soloist" of this Alma Mater Letran song when I graduated in 2004 (HS)...

Si Maestro Julio Esteban y Anguita, kilalang pianista at musikero noong dekada 50s, ang bumuo ng himno na ito noong nagtuturo pa siya ng piano sa Letran mga late 20s or early 30s bago siya pumasok sa UP bilang isang propesor.

i wish Letran will expand and transfer its college department to a different location within metro manila. they should have more exchange foreign students from different countries with updated curriculum same as standford and massachusetts institute of technology. somebody should take over on how the campus should expand.
This is my second choice if i wont go to UP!. Ganda Nang Hymn Ahhahaha

First time I heard a Spanish School Hymn.
I am a fan of Spanish Language and I badly want to learn it. Namimili ako kung saan ko gusto pumasok kung sa Letran ba o sa USTe. Tanong ko lang hanggang ngayon ba nagtuturo pa din sila ng Spanish Language? A lot of Filipino's wants to learn Spanish Language again however 2 schools of Letran ay nasa Manila at Calamba lang. I hope they have in Visayas and Mindanao. Especially those people who are interested in Spanish Language like me and in the BPO's who are in Spanish Department they wanted to learn the language.
Both UST and Letran have mandatory Spanish subjects.
