These videos are very helpful. After watching five or six of your videos today, the only information I could find in the data layer was post ID. I couldn’t figure out how to get that into the Google tag manager as a variable. This video may help if I attempt to use a DOM element. I have labeled a few test cases with an ID inside of WordPress. My question is this. I have a few different products I’m selling, but they all lead to the same product booking page. i’m trying to differentiate each product, how can I achieve this

Hi, my variables are changing of / by \\/ when I put them on script HTML, how can I reverse this? I need to consume the URL exactly how I get it. Can you help me to avoid this escaping?

What if there are multiple elements using the final-price class? Is there a workaround to select that one element we need?

Hi, in that case, you would need to write more precise CSS selector. But this requires a little deeper knowledge of that topic

    I have two questions:
    1) In this video in the beginning is it possible in this case use Product Id number instead of Order Number?
    2) When I try to implement dynamic remarketing through GTM, I also use DOM variables on each product, for instance ID and Value, so I create two variables on one product. The question is what if I want to promote (dyn.rem.) several products, for instance 20 products, does it mean that I have to create in GTM 40 variable ((ID and Value) because in each variable we use individual css selector)??? If yes, is there any possibility to automate this process, for instance create just two variables, but they will relate to 40 products, or I have to do it manually (creating 40 variables on 20 products)?
I hope you understood) Actually, thank you for your e-book.

      1. Yes
      2. You would need to learn JavaScript. Or ask a developer to push the product data to the datalayer.

Depends on your conversion settings. You can set it to count only one conversion per session.

Also, if you send the order id, it can be used to deduplicate conversions.
But you can also create a cuatom solution with cookies/localstorage to reduce number of duplicate conversions.
