Koreans practice ancestor worship & deeply love their elders. In turn, all sacrifices are made for the children. Everything is for the next generation, but deep love & loyalty is what connects ancestors & descendants. Each generation (parents, kids etc) has a special holiday just for them & all the people celebrate them formally & happily, all gens together. They have this aspect totally figured out, and it makes for a healthy strong culture.
I am using this as a reference for my first attempt at making doenjang at home here in California. It's very interesting to learn about the cultural importance of doenjang, in addition to the process of how it's made. Thank you for the video!

I really wanna taste this Korean traditional delicacy. The overall process of fermentation in itself looks so amazing. It really symbolises mother's true love for her children.
Greetings from Tecas in the US. This brought which tears to my eyes. You have your Mothers dish. In my family it’s southern fried chicken. My sons always ask for it for family Sunday dinners after church. It takes time to fry since I have fry so much chicken, 4 of them, for my boys and their families. It’s worth it. I never have any left. Which for a mother’s, mother inlaws, and grandmothers heart is good
2:43 I think ive saw this family house somewhere before. And i found out that it was on 1 night 2 days Jeollanamdo’s tasty food special! I really love korean culture and korean food as i watched 1n2d and i came here because of my love for korean food. I always excited to try new korean restaurant at my city, and always craving for kimchi. I wish someday i will taste the original korean food right from where it was from.
I have found it very interesting to learn that a similar food is traditional to North East India. I hope to someday see videos on how that is made as well! Are there many traditions and cultural meanings surrounding it there as well?
I love it how they respect their parents and olders. 💯

Anybody knows if Korea is the country with most types of fermented food?
They are masters in fermented foods. No argument about it actually.
They learned kimchi from the Chinese.
@@winniengo5448 Haha. Nope. Kimchi is Korean own food and culture. In China you can't find the same one.
@@winniengo5448 Haha chinese.

God bless you abundantly in Jesus' Name Amen
