Good info. Just bought one.
Love it
I have a TG 6 and get amazing pic on First go
I made a tripod only for the Backscatter so it stands alone at the bottom, I can then move the camera while the light stays on the object, It works really well.

@@backscatteruw Okay nice, Ok, but the tripod works both, on hard rock and soft ground.
Can you use this as a combo with other strobes? I want to shoot with the strobe and an Iron Z330 on manual. Having a hard time finding anything that discussed using this strobe blended with a wide strobe for medium focal length shots.
You sure can. Feel free to give us a call or send us an email if you'd like any tips.
Great functionality. Expensive though.
What is the best way to tether this snoot and the aperture cards?
The aperture cards include a small tether and the Optical Snoot has an integrated loop that they can be stored on.
how to clean moldy optical snoot?
Sounds like maybe it needs better rinsing post-dive to avoid that problem. Give us a call or send us an email at info@backscatter.com and we can help you with the best way to clean it.
Just got the snoot and tried using it on a dive with the macro wide 4300. Any tips for shooting video using the snoot?
