Trippy seeing the green belt I lived there in 08 for a bit would walk my old dog Bear on it daily and ride part of it on my DH bike till the golf course then up to the foot hills.. also would drive passed Idaho city on the way to hot springs often..
Joooohn from Strava! Thanks as always! They will get better - I promise! Yes - I will take your ice cream cone as a sign I need to go buy some now - seriously!
Good job Naomi!! thanx for sharing your adventure. I hope to see Wayne's top secret hot springs soon. lol. Who needs Seinfeld or Friends on Thursday night??! You are doing an incredible job.
You welcome. And I like how you just started out on a bike packing trip just up & did it!!! That's so awesome! I am doing a short trip next weekend about 65 miles trying to do it in one day I think it will be fun!! Lol
YAY!! 👏 Thrilled to have you along for the ride! Looks like you’re starting Season 1 which hopefully they play in order based on the playlists I created on UA-cam. If you subscribed you’re going to be alerted to Season 2 uploads - just letting you know so you’re not confused. Thank you for taking the time to share kind feedback!
Hey Naomi. Somehow I missed this video but watched the rest that you posted after this one. Lol. Oh well, this one is great just like the rest. I love the way you packed your bike by the way, you did not waste any frame space that's for sure. Those old buildings are so cool, a real piece of History. I can close my eyes and imagine the people back in the day living there, incredible!! Your first day on this trip was a good start to a good time.
Funny you should mention "back in time" as I just started obsessing over videos on UA-cam shot in the late 1800's and early 1900's which people added color and audio too. It's quite magical to watch. I highly recommend. Thanks as always for your kind words Steven!
@@HumanontheLoose Thanks for the heads up about the "Back in Time" video's. Right up my alley. I watch old episodes of Gunsmoke which aired on TV for 20 years. It's fun to watch the way they went from black and white and later episodes were color. We have come a long way. I love watching your videos the most though. Enjoy your evening. 🌹❤
Happy to have you! Have your ridden it? I think it would be fun on a road bike with no bags of course...and then you can have a really long wheee all the way back.
Here it is the secret sauce to Human on the Loose formula, method, or intention (lets not use the word plan) if anyone is taking notes: "What am I doing? I have no idea. I just felt like I needed to take off and get on a bicycle and ride. I have not tested the bike out. I am just going to wing it. I have a history of being a risk taker and flourishing under those circumstances. It creates and excitement for what I am going to learn versus a fear." There it is, and you can now watch what happens knowing its all unplanned planning um wait unintentional intention errr!!! Ok so there are two schools of learning in life easy way and the hard way. Either way you learn; so it's all good. Beyond that I throw no judgement as all things are perspective. One person's tsunami is another person's free yard cleaning and annoying neighbor elimination right?
OH BOY - Season One! The season I got known for random rants. 😂 You found my life in a nutshell! 😃 I'll order the hard way please! I agree. I never care about others choices but I'm always interested in the why - behind the choice.
Naomi Stock, you beautiful young woman. How nice it would be to go on a bicycling tour through the trails and mountains with you. What do I see here? A mongoose Iboc pro mountain bike. It could probably handle any trail out there.

So you were fortunate enough to have the Boise experience! As you saw, a truly special place with all the surroundings it has to offer. I LOVE Idaho City! Just want to get on a horse and call it a day!
@@HumanontheLoose oh yes and yeah a horse would be cool too.. I'm stuck in San Bernardino CA for now lol.. when I leave again will eter be Oregon Idaho or maybe Washington..
You had us on “this is my first day of bike packing.” What a gal!

My home! I pass that same cat all the time on the Boise Greenbelt! 😊
Awesome place to call “HOME” Nice to know the cat is still alive!
Great first day!
Hi - thank you! Are you the Roger from Tennessee?
@@HumanontheLoose , yes.
Glad I found your channel. You rode up 21?? Brave! Lol
Happy to have you! Have your ridden it? I think it would be fun on a road bike with no bags of course...and then you can have a really long wheee all the way back.
No, but I have driven it, I’d think between Boise and Lowman the traffic would be intense!
Hey 😊 Cool videos here ! Good vibes 😁 Did you experience loosy thru axle on the non threaded side of the fork ? Me and two people I know did 😢
