Maybe technically, but if the public votes someone in with that mission, with the belief that it will be good for the country, then that's how our system is designed to work. We have a major lack of democracy in that so many people are appointed, and wealthy donors feel they can decide who gets elected. It did seem like her questioning came from the establishment, right or left, but Bernie is so solid and always has been with his answers and knowledge of them, that her “devils advocate“ approach didn’t phase him.

The level of journalism that we're willing to accept in this country is so depressing. I take no exception to an adversarial interview; a politician should be challenged. But we have news media giving equal weight to both sides of a question when one side is completely insane, rather than informing the audience what the facts are.

She can adopt all the policies she wants and even sincerely want to implement them (which again I doubt pow-wow-chow has such desires) but she has no political power. The presidency does not hold the political power to implement bernie/warren policy goals, it requires a mass movement. Yet Warren's vision is that the political class will give us these things by working together behind closed doors. It's preposterous.
