4K Metro ride in Bangalore, India 2023 | Namma Metro Purple Line | IT Corridor Route

As promised, I take a ride in the most anticipated Metro rail in Bengaluru, Karnataka, the Purple Line Metro from K R Puram to Whitefield. The traffic congestion a.k.a. traffic jam on this route is legendary, and it has haunted the Karnataka Government for decades. No talking blog, just white noise.
This route consists of several malls, shopping centres, high profile residents, high networth individuals, Information Technology companies, Bio Technology companies, restaurants, five-star hotels, paying guest accommodations, government offices, city centres, hospitals, financial institutions and recreation centres. This route is packed with MSME.
We cross the Blue Line ORR (Outer Ring Road) metro project, moving to Phoenix mall, Sri Satya Sai Hospital, ITPL and Whitefield. This Metro Line will serve close to 2 lakh commuters per day and will serve close to 5 lakh commuters once the line is fully connected to the main line to Baiyappanahalli.
The Purple Line Metro is the pinnacle of Indian Urban Mass Transit (UMT) or Indian Urban Mass Transport engineering systems. It will reduce the traffic congestion on roads, especially 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers. Moreover, the metro line comes with a very scenic view and a picturesque view of urban development of India, Karnataka and Bangalore. It is peppered with glass buildings and yet keeps close to greenery like flowering trees, flowering plants, lakes and natural beauty.
The ticketing system is modern and digitalized. The tickets come in the form of tokens, smartcard, QR scanner through the smartphone that can be bought in advance through digital payments and scanned at the turnstile that has a camera. It is a cheap mode of transport and truly a mass transport system that provides affordable transport.
It is a Metro Train with a dedicated Ladies compartment, keeping in mind the respect of Indian women. Purple Line Metro rail is fitted with CCTV and is a fully AC train. It is a well maintained Metro and will soon join the ranks of the Delhi Metro, Mumbai Metro, Singapore Metro, Shanghai Metro, Hong Kong Metro and the Tokyo Metro.
There is a reason why one finds their true love with Bengaluru, with a perfect weather and prosperity to match. The purple line was all over the news and being covered by national news channels of India like Times Now, Republic, India TV, CNN IBN 18, NDTV, Times Now Navbharat, ABP News, Aaj Tak, TV9, Deccan Herald, Time of India etc. and, International news like the BBC, CNN, Dawn News, Al Jazeera etc will soon cover the same.
KR Puram has a busy railways station and a bus stand (bus station) and huge footfall. With the new infrastructural development, Bangalore will now move towards a powerful and robust economic development or for a better term economic boom, adding yet another wheel to the Indian economy and India's growth story. Yes, this one single metro line can change the way Bangalore is looked at.
There is a reason the Prime Minister of India (PM, PMO, PMoI) Shri. Narendra Modi along with the Chief Minister of Karnataka (CM of Karnataka) Shri. Basavaraj Bommai, Head of BMRCL personally inaugurated the Namma Metro Purple Line with much fanfare. This is a gift the people of Karnataka will cherish for a long time to come.
International Technology Park Limitied (ITPL) or International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) was set up with the sole purpose of building the strength of India's IT infrastructure. To make it easier for the people working in IT, Whitefield residential zone was set up next to it.

Good one 👍. Bangalore has one of the best public transport i have ever seen. Frequent AC buses, ksrtc services, metro, affordable cab services , and digital passes just blow my mind. I don't know why people use personal vehicles just to increase pollution and traffic. We really don't need those in a metro city like bangalore.

Why there are no platform screen doors installed on metro stations in Bangalore?
It is an absolute necessity in modern day newer metro systems.
The news is BMRCL has ordered Platform Doors, installation have started, initial order of doors did not align.
Bangalore need almost double metro line compare to the corently operation metro in this city..
I totally agree. There are 3 more lines under construction. The Blue Line Outer Ring Road, Pink, and Yellow Line. Apart from the 3 metro lines, 4 modern commuter rails are under construction. Phase 3 will have 3 more lines under construction, one of which is the Orange Line, connecting the old Bangalore to the Suburbs and ending at Hebbal.
