After 3 1/2 years playing Balti is still my most played ship in the game. Anytime I get frustrated with my teammates, I pull out my Balti (or AL Balti) and go ham on the enemy. I'm afraid of NOTHING when playing it. My favorite is to pull out from behind some island, catch a BB broadside by surprise and citadel the hell out of them. Baltimore and Alaska are the kings of all cruisers.
My personal favorite game: is when I won a 1v2 against a Bismarck and Vittorio Veneto. Idiots went broadside and paid zero attention to me when we were under 6km away
The two very best games i ever had were a 3958 xp game in Baltimore, with 4 kills and i think a Confederate and high caliber, and a 4207 XP game in Rochester with a kraken, confederate, & high caliber. I love my American heavy cruisers, haven't enjoyed the Buffalo as much though but that is most likely me not playing it correctly
I only recently got to going with a full Einstein build and holy heck am I enjoying the Balti more than I was with Cunningham. Sucks losing the third radar, but my guns are far more effective as they can get in target so much faster.
@SpartanElite43 oh wow! I have Wichita but haven't grinded Balti yet (almost there lol) and was so impressed with wichiAP. I'm more excited now! 🤣 just unlocked Kansas last night 💪 like usual you weren't wrong with her either!
I know this is an old post but im trying to play in the Balti but i just get nuked immediately almost every game, especially if there is an Aircraft carrier, i have no idea what im doing wrong and its getting really frustrating cause i cant live long enough to figure it out

@@CrusherGamer688 it's got 32mm pretty much everywhere so only Yamato and Musashi overmatch it.. That being said it has a large superstructure that takes a lot of damage if folks know to aim there when you bow tank.

I love the Hipper but that ship is cursed for me. Every time I take that ship out I'm down tiered and have potatoes for teammates. By far my worst win percentage ship and it's so frustrating as I do love the ship and do well in it generally. For the record Balti is my favorite cruiser as well.
Battleships are inherently more fun because what they do there tanks , cruisers to me are like little infantry to me , move in and support the tank that’s killing and destroyers are little scouts and it’s a dopamine rush when you get a full salvo of torps into a bb

For cruisers I prefer hipper, only because you can torp, balti is alr but my least played cruiser at T7, not a fan of cruisers myself anyway, I’m a BB main. And a decent one as I have common sense lol 👀

The Baltimore is a good cruiser but it's not the supreme cruiser. It's not even the most fun cruiser. Mainz is better. Hipper is better. Chapayev is better. But that's just me.
@@SpartanElite43the only area Wichita is better than Baltimore in is the HE spam and agility departments. The AP on Baltimore is by far the best for any cruiser at tier 7. There's Rochester too which also has discusting AP but that's premium lol
@@Dr_GhostYT Balti has the same HE as Wichita just a slightly slower reload time.. but yes Wichita is slightly more Agile though Balti is pretty agile too. Wichita is a premium though and gets a credit bonus because of it but that would be the main reason she may nose out a Balti in many eyes
