These cars are not meant for people that have to drive 150 miles to civilization. 100 kilometers range for now ( a bit more maybe) and a top speed of 73 mph..but we have battery swapping technology in the pipline.. Imagine pulling into a city , driving into a car wash size room and 3 minutes late your off with a fresh battery
Love EVs (drive one), but no one is going to pay $20K-$30K for those things in the U.S. (or not enough to be relevant). Don't talk tax credits either since not everyone is entitled to them and even if you are eligible, that money is not being taken off the MSRP up front (and won't in the end either unless you actually pay $7500 towards your balance at the end of the tax year).
