- Hey everyone! It's time i reviewed another product range from one of my favourite K-skincare brands: SOMEBYMI. The Yuja Niacin range uses citron (or Yuja in Korea), as a source of Vit C goodness and is said to enhance skin whitening to fade marks/scars etc. Does it work for me??
In this video, I bought the trial size package to see what it's all about:

4) Yuja Niacin 30 Days Miracle Brightening Sleeping Mask
First things first, THE FRAGRANCE is divine. I absolutely love the citrus smell which is not like those detergent or hand wash lemon type, but more of a sweet luxurious lemon. Join me for the review!

Im in love on this product too, Im using it already for one month now and it really helps my uneven tone skin, dry skin , pores
and bumpy thing in my face. I love the sleeping mask it is non sticky and smell so good. In the next morning you will feel the difference on it it gives so smooth skin and brightness. It really effective.!

Hello thank you so much for your review i used the brightening night mask it's really nice, however the serum is giving me itchy red spots in my face. I am using it for 3 days now, should I discontinue it.
Wondering if how this went on your skin? As I am planning on trying one.
The serum 5% niacinimide, the moisturizer also 5% my face wash has some niacinimide.. will this irritates the skin! Too much niacinimide? Each product in this line has 5% can they add up? I’m not sure if it’s safe to use that much niacinimide
I use The miracle for 30 days 🤝 and the results was a miracle !
Now I’ll use Yuja Niacin
Update : I don’t see any change with Yuja Niacin so it’s maybe don’t good for my type of skin so read about it + I back using miracle in 30 days and I be amazed in every time i use it 🥺💗💗💗.

Hello, you said that the essence of this product should not be used during the day, right? It can only be used at night, right?
Hey there! With Vitamin C products you should wear sunscreen in the day time so it doesn't break down fast.
If you use it at night it's ok since you don't have to worry about sunlight. Basically you can use it anytime of the day!
I am currently using ordinary nacinamide so is it okay to used this product with it
Hey there, yes you can use both at the same time as Niacinamide and vitamin C have complementary benefits, and when applied correctly they can be a powerful combination.
i agree when you said that it's quite acidic coz it's made from citrus and i have a bit skin reaction my skin is irritated slightly so yeah
if you have sensitive skin just use tiny amount of 1-2 product per day (ex: toner, serum for a day)
Can this product use who didn't suite vitamin c?
Hi there! If your skin is allergic to vitamin C it might cause a reaction, so maybe you can do a patch test on your arm skin before trying 😀
Hi i bought this set a few days ago. There is a white build up aroud the toner bottle. Is it because of the product drying up?it was sealed when i received it but i am still concerned about it 😅 can someone tell me whether is it normal. I already used it though 🤔
Hey there! That may be a possibility, or either the vitamin c/ingredients have formed a crusty formation. If you notice any negative effects, do stop using it!

Hii ! I'm wondering if I should try this as I have a lot of blemishes and uneven skin tone but I heard it even removes freckles and I don't want my freckles to disappear 😥 so should I still try it ? And is it real (the fact that it makes freckles disappear) ?

Hey there! I don't think this product is strong enough to remove freckles... It does not have any retinol or bleaching ingredients to remove freckles. Mostly to lighten overall skin and skin marks like dead skin. It is quite moisturising so the only concern is if the vitamin C will be too much for your sensitive skin. You can do a patch test to see if it's compatible!

I bought this hoping to make my face lighter, because my face is really tan compared to my neck/body. every time i use it, immediately after i look a lot darker?? i kept using it because i hoped it was a “the storm before the rainbow” situation but my skin kept getting darker , and it wasn’t brightening my skin at all :(
but my skin is clear! i don’t think the lightning/brightening works at all though.
maybe the glowing effect gives the illusion of darker face ..because sometimes i do experience it but not with this product though

Hi there! it might be harsh or unsuitable for certain skin types due to the potent vitamin C content. Do moisturise if you feel theres dryness or flakiness

hi there! Yes it is a vitamin C serum, made with yuja (citron) which is some sort of lemon, but it has higher concentrations of vitamin C
U dont need to lighten ur skin ur skin tone is beautiful.. I dont understand why people want to do this. I understand brightening to even skin tone and spots.. but lighten your actual skin tone? Please dont!

Hey there! You might be able to use it, but with caution as your skin might not be able to handle vitamin C at such a young age. Start small and observe any changes!

I’ve been using the serum for 2 days now and I kinda noticed that my skin kinda reacts to it maybe it’s the purging because most probably my skin wants to get used to it but i have doubts on thiss hahah should I continue or stop using it ?? Bcs as u said u did experience the same phase:( (btw I already did the arm test thingy and it doesn’t have any reaction to it)

Hey there! I think between a 6-7 out of 10! For some reason, I never found Some by Mi products to be that amazing. Either too oily or too much fragrance.

Hey there! Thanks so much. TBH I have really bad blemish skin. Maybe combination. It's dry and oily at the same time. Not only that, I have constant blackheads+whiteheads around my lower cheeks...haha it's a struggle to clear it up.

Hello, I'm 18 years old and I have acne prone combination to dry skin. Actually I want to use only yuja niacin moisturizer as a daily moisturizer with the ordinary Niacinamide serum. So is it ok to you like this?

Hey there! I think you can use the Yuja Niacin moisturizer with The Ordinary niacinamide serum, as both ingredients complement each other in skin brightening. It is a good combination to try out slowly.

Can that product reduce acne and close pores?
I'm new with SBM products. Coz I wanted to try their products, so I did lil research. To reduce acne/active acne u can try AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Set (green box) and for pores care, try Super Matcha Pore Care. Actually the AHA BHA PHA do help reduce pores, but if u have serious pores problem, should try the whole set of Matcha coz it's focusing on pores. 😊

Hi there! The product lightens marks and scars a little bit, it takes time, but it does help. Not completely remove scars, that one you have to go to a skin doctor to do treatments.

If you have dry skin buy the one with sleeping mask (can use like normal moisturiser)
The gel moisturizer for me not very hydrating and i have combination-oily / dehydrated skin
Hi I am also 16 and ive tried this product. At first, my skin went red and i decided to stop using it. After about 2 months, ive decided to give it a second chance and this time it actually worked. It gave a great glowing effect to my skin and im still using it until now. *ps: my skin type is normal-dry a bit sensitive

Hey there! I think it may not be the best for pimple skin as it might irritate the skin, but, the vitamin C is good to help fade acne scars and marks. Maybe use it after your pimple has subsided?

Hey there! I think it's not actually suitable for oily skin....I have oily skin and I felt it made my skin more oily, due to it being very rich in ingredients and no anti-sebum properties. It's more suited for normal skin.

Hey there! I'm not very sure about this, but I suppose the fungal acne should be treated first before attempting these products, otherwise it may cause something unexpected.

Hi there! Usually vitamin C does not affect acne as much, only if your skin is irritable to the vitamin C or ingredients in the products. Usually vitamin C should lighten acne marks, but it does not help the acne itself since it is not antibacterial.
