no one is watching this video because you seem bias. The induction burner on the Traeger is a major factor. Its not just a burner but an induction burner for high sear cooking. Some might like it some might say its not for them but it is a feature. You also have to compare the components. The Traeger is using a higher quality digital thermometer. The Recteq is also a much bigger grill so it will cook more. If you need the space then its easy to pick a winner but you also have to consider how many times you will be doing a cook for your own family or personal cook and it would cost less to heat a small grill which will cost less on the pellets. So what I'm saying is it hard to compare because it depends on the user and what there needs are.

We simply compare pellet grills & smokers at a similar price point for their respective features, there is no bias, these are objective facts, not subjective opinions. With regards to the induction hob being a major feature, its a feature now available on a pellet grill with a price point of less than $500 (Member's Mark 36"). Obviously, individual users have different requirements and may choose to opt for a Traeger for their own reasons. What we are offering is a means for those researching a pellet grill/smoker to make an informed choice.
