Hi there. I'm considering buying an Oakford 790 or a Treager Pro 575. What would you recommend if size isn't a factor?

Wait... My Pro Series 1600 has dual wall insulated with stainless steel as well as heat seal around the opening... I didn't notice any of the others with that feature.

My 22 was fun. A little glitchy.

It would have been nice to include time to temperature, burn rates at smoking and searing functions relative to ambient temperature, temperature fluctuations relative to target temperature (and whether it can be programmed in)

I've had my Ninja woodfire grill and smoker for about a month now I am impressed with the technology but there are a couple of major CONS considering the fairly hefty price of this product the ridged grill plate is extremely difficult to clean and takes a lot of the fun out of the cooking experience. I would expect at least a non stick surface on the grill plate. The second con and possibly even more important is that the smoke box lid gets jammed up with resin from the smoking and it is almost impossible to open it without breaking it. Even after a thorough clean it still gets jammed up after every smoking. These points might seem minor but for the price a little bit of quality would go a long way to improving the cooking experience.

I learned that the Camp Chef has a model with 1,236 sq inches, additionally it accommodates a propane Sidekick compatible burner for searing up to 700 degrees pizza oven. I believe this would be a fairer apples to apples review.

This video is inaccurate, I have a Pro series and it has a “P” setting and the temp can be changed in increments of 10 degrees not 25

Can wifi capability be added?

The only thing I don't prefer about a Recteq is the lack of a quick pellet cleanout. I would also like to have a heavy smoke feature. Other than that, Recteq is a run away winner.

The low on a traeger is 165F As well the Traeger has upgraded Motors and augers which are brushes that don't break and the Traeger is powder coated steel so it's not going to flake off and rust and the Traeger self cleans all the Ash and grease going to the same bucket maybe if you guys weren't paid by Rec Tec you would be truthful and honest in your reviews.

No offense but these ratings are based on specs only. These specs don’t always come to fruition. Rectec has been proven to never actually reach 700 degrees. Weber’s main grate isn’t the one that matters, it’s actually the second one that matters the most as it’s the one you will always smoke on. Personally still leaning toward Searwood but not 100% just yet. I think they all have a few flaws

Recteq is garbage. Thank god they have a good warranty because it's always breaking down. Save your money.

Only the Weber is able to have a rotisserie option.

The dedicated smoke setting is not needed smh
