  • We check out if this is not only a base model but the right Sxs for you in the trails. Bang for buck and comfortable ride and capabilities, we give it a thumbs up.
    Left out the specs as they can be seen easy online, just wanted to give good look and feel to show one on the trails, including some wind noise unfortunately while filming.
    If anyone has one please comment on how they are liking their machine so far.

    Thanks for the videos. Although you personally have cost me 30 grand. I just ordered a 2020 XRC, and Im keeping my 2018 XRS. The 2018 has a EVO Stage 3R tune, and I will let you know how they stack up head to head. Peace

      Yessss!!!! Love it, I mean sorry about the expense part, but looking forward to seeing that heads up. I was soo close to keeping xrs also, but I had 3 and went down to 2, 2 is perfect. For now. Lol

    Thanks for the review of a base model. Have you driven the Rzr 570 to compare?

    • @MartoriousMartuzzi
      @MartoriousMartuzzi  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks, I have driven the 570 but wouldn't even compare it to the Mav trail. The 900 trail rzr is much more suited to compare but still falls very short of Maverick trail.
      To sit and ride them all its instant the ride quality feeling and interior alone make the Mav trail so much better. One will definately outlast the other down the road too.

      Spacers yes or offset rims. Could gain you couple inches. But if you drive good you can keep stable. Just isn't a donut machine.

    Hello I just bought the Trail 800 base so I appreciate this video! Is that an aftermarket rear view mirror?

    • @MartoriousMartuzzi
      @MartoriousMartuzzi  4 роки тому +1

      Hey Dan. Great choice really it will get you around forever and the mirror is just the brp mirror they sell at most dealers. Glad you liked the video, my bud bought this one to start mapping out trails for his adventure tours he is starting and what a smart pick to know he can get around everywhere possible.
      Glad you liked the video! Oh and he added the spare tire carrier rack on back, great when going deep into the trails on long rides. I'll be posting video on that asap also.

      They a little more now and dealers don’t make deals with covid anymore so it’s gonna be lost price plus freight and pdi plus taxes pending on where you live.

    Hey man is the 800 fast enough to have a lot of fun with or does it feel underpowered at times?

    • @MartoriousMartuzzi
      @MartoriousMartuzzi  4 роки тому

      For the can am trail the 800 is 50hp. For many other things such as a commander 800, they are 70ish HP.
      Not sure why they limited this trail 800. Has plenty of torque to climb anything and gets flying fast. Just missing the spin your tires off line punch.
      Need 70plus HP to do that.
      Unless you want a tight skinny trail machine I would get something with bit more HP

      Martorious Martuzzi #44 thanks for the reply. I’m looking at a 50 inch because my trail system that I ride is limited to 50 inches. I just can’t see spending over $2k more for the extra power on the 1000cc. So you think the 800 is a fun and quick machine to hit the trails with?

    • @MartoriousMartuzzi
      @MartoriousMartuzzi  4 роки тому

      @@trailrippers1588 trails it can be pushed and had fun with. Climbing is great. Hills np. The narrow frame you can weave in and out of everything. Inside is ok one of best interiors comfort wise stock.
      The one I drove in few vids of mine I had flying fast and was night and day more comfy than 900 Polaris trail. The bit of length helps.
      You will be just fine. The 800 base is what I used. Comes with no power steering or with for more cost. Such a lightweight model I felt super easy to steer without it.

    Can this cruise 50mph no problem?

    • @MartoriousMartuzzi
      @MartoriousMartuzzi  2 роки тому

      I’d say that’s where it sits and ride good. Takes bit to get up there but yes

    Is this a dps? How's the drive? Is it good without dps?

    • @MartoriousMartuzzi
      @MartoriousMartuzzi  3 роки тому

      This one no DPs. For the small night trail sxs I have driven they are less needed for sure. If worth saving dough then save it.

      @@MartoriousMartuzzi so is it nice handling? Without dps.

    • @MartoriousMartuzzi
      @MartoriousMartuzzi  3 роки тому

      Ya the rip good cause they have good torque and the wheelbase gives them awesome handling for the trails. Most comfortable of the trails.
