Pink Floyd, their music and their Albums and their 4 members changed the way I think of music art and life... and some psychedelics.... Those 4 men and their music changed my life to this day. I'm 36 years old and they're still my favorite band of all time nobody will ever change my mind. It also inspired me to pick up a bass guitar at the age of 17 and shortly after a 6 string guitar. Thank you Pink Floyd for more inspiration than I can ever imagine to use. I even choose an education in music production and audio recording all because of being a 16 year old kid who discovered Pink Floyd. Thanks for all the great music and memories Mr. Gilmore, Mr. Waters, Mr. Wright, Mr. Mason ,and Mr. Syd Barrett....and not to forget the art of Mr. Storm Ferguson who helped a young kid choose cool looking Album Covers. Much respect to Pink Floyd thanks again...
I was thinking the same thing.....and WHO WOULDNT BE!!! To be on stage, as a trusted performer , with THE David Gilmore!!!!!! I would love to see him in concert one day but can never seem to make it work when/where he is playing. And he is getting older....probably fewer tours in the future.....
One day, God will tap Gilmour on the shoulder and say." It's time Dave." And Dave will say," Please, can I have 2 more minutes?" And God will give him that two minutes. Why? Because God is a fan too.

I love this song, but this version of the solo left something wanting. It didn't feel like it had the same flow in comparison to say the Pulse version, which is surprising as solos in songs like Comfortably Numb and Shine On You Crazy Diamond only get better with age, such as the Gdansk version being a step up from the Pulse Comfortably Numb.
