Sketch for Apollo Building Painting | Part 2 | Mixing Acrylic Paints

I have been commissioned to paint The Exchange Building in Blackburn for The Heritage Open Days. This special event celebrates historical and cultural heritage all across England.
A painting sketch is an initial drawing you make before painting on your canvas.
Such a drawing allows you to visualise the painting before it is created, try out different ideas such as composition, colours, perspective.
In this video, I continue with my concept sketch for the painting of this iconic building and here, you will learn how to:
- Mix acrylics paints to match your chosen colour scheme.
- Use the reference of Pantone swatches to get a recipe for your colours.
- Learn how to mix acrylics with inks and boost the vibrance of your colour mixture.
